Great value power tool- a must have!
This Skilsaw isn't heavy to work with and is easy to use. I was able to make accurate cuts and stay on my line while cutting. It fits well in your hand and is comfortable to use. Safety guard in place and it is able to withstand the task. It is a power tool that runs on electricity or through a generator. Great price and great shipping in its original packaging.

Great Value for Light to Medium Projects
I picked up the Skil 5080-01 for some home improvement projects, and it’s done the job really well. It’s lightweight but still feels sturdy in your hands, and the 13-amp motor has plenty of power for basic woodcutting and DIY work. The saw starts up smoothly and the adjustments for depth and bevel are pretty intuitive. I wouldn’t use it for heavy-duty contractor jobs, but for cutting plywood, 2x4s, and trim around the house, it’s perfect. The included blade is decent, but I swapped it out for a finer one for cleaner cuts. All in all, a solid choice if you want something affordable and dependable for home use.

Good budget saw
Has some oomph to it, but not a whole lot. Works great as a budget saw if you need one. Heads up, it comes with an 18 tooth blade so if you need something a little finer, grab one of those too.

Great, but the blade guide is off a bit. (Updated)
Update at bottom. This is the 13 amp variant, ~$40.Bought this to do a diy hardwood flooring install. I realized this came with a 24 tooth blade, which is more suited for rough cutting large pieces like plywood or 2x4s, so I supplimented this purchase with a 60 tooth blade, by Diablo. The saw itself has plenty of power, I have not used the 24t blade, but this has had 0 issues with the 60t to cut through hardened engineered bamboo.NEGATIVES:Blade guide cutout is not exactly in line with the blade. The blade is a few mm further right than the guide suggests. Not a big issue once I realized it, just have to make that compensation.POSITIVES:Power, as mentioned (the torque is very noticable just getting the blade started),Size, easy to handle with right or left hand, quite compact when completely lowered,Can raise up the cutting depth to 0, so out can make a variety of cut depths (I use this for clearance, I'm cutting planks elevated on 1x4s on my garage floor)Has the 45° lateral tilt adjustment, which I haven't used while sawing, is a nice feature to have.Update: been using the 24t blade to deconstruct my porch, it's holding up pretty good after probably over 100 cuts on 5/4x6 and 2x4s.Also, you may consider wrapping the handle, the joint between the plastic shells chafes the hand between the thumb and pointer finger a bit with extended use.
