How to Date Men When You Hate Men

Can I get my money back?
Early on in the book Blythe reveals she’s never actually dated anyone. SO HOW DID SHE GET A BOOK ON DATING PUBLISHED?!At this point I lost faith in the authority of the author. Persisted for a while, only to discover what follows is a stream of conciousness that feels like a montage of hastily assembled social media posts meets memoir. What I expected was some incisive feminist observations on the minefield that is modern dating-which lord knows we need. This is so far from that. Also, wasn’t it supposed to be funny?

Daughter Blythe likes blythe’s book ;)
Got it for my daughter also called blythe roberson-leech. She got a mention from the author ;) . Thought provoking, light hearted patches and doesn’t preach which would have turned me off. Look forward to the authors next book in the works

Funny and well written, but not hugely helpful
Funny but more memoir than I expected. The practical advice is very tongue in cheek...! I enjoyed the read, but more for the laughs of recognition than actually finding it a particularly insightful or helpful book.

Disappointing and a lot of waffling.
Tried to hard to like and finish this book, persisting over half the way through but this book is nothing like the title. No mention of her even hating men and the how to date tips are teen like. It’s just a lot of waffle and referencing to things we didn’t buy the book for. Even skipped certain pages bc they just went on and on about something thats not relevant to the book and title. Not like me to not finish a book but it was draining me. Doesn’t live up to the expectations and it’s not funny. It’s quite cringe.

Pretty ridiculous
How to date ‘demographic’ when you hate ‘demographic’ is just about the least humanitarian title of a book. How is this published
