Good page quality. As for the topic better less said.

I thought it is translated by s. mitchell but no.I will return it.This is written in a complex language, for most word i need a dictionary, but for s mitchell, he beautifully explain every statement of tao with easy and perfection of language.

Great but the language is difficult to understand.

First of all i dont deserve to give review on this book bcz its teaching are at a very high standard which very few gets.i being able to understand some part(not all)think that this book is way more knowledgable than its cost

This translation was difficult to read as the author just tried to translate word by word, hence the meaning was lost.I then bought the penguin classic's version and was completely satisfied with both translation and annotations :)

Way of life

The problem with this book is that it’s pure translation of the original, and with every read you feel something is missing by in translation. Instead, listen to Osho on Lao Tzu and you would end up learning more. To be frank, I found it extremely taxing to read the book. I’ll be looking for a better translation with commentary.Not recommended!

The book is well-designed. I don't understand ancient Chinese philosophy in its native form. I needed an explanation and did not realize this book doesn't provide it. If you need the teachings without any explanation, this book is good.
