Skullcandy Method 360 ANC XT Sound by Bose - Bone

When I ordered these, there weren't any reviews on the product listing. I ended up having to search around for reviews. There were a lot to mixed reviews, people either love them or hate them. I decided to take the chance since they were on sale. I am a happy customer.The fit is excellent. I hate how other earbuds I've had always fall out of my ears. Other earbuds fall out even when I am just sitting on the couch. These Skullcandy Method 360 ANC XT Sound by Bose, are my new favorite. I was able to use them right out of the box without even having to change the rubber pieces. It is very nice there are three different earbuds sizes as well as three different earlobe sizes allowing the custom fit to your ears. I have never had a pair of earbuds stay in my ears comfortably without needing over the ear clips or other modification.I walked around, did some headbanging, shook my head around violently, and I could not get these to fall out of my ears. Tilted my head to the side, shook my head around some more, yet they still wouldn't fall out. I am truly impressed how excellent they fit.Sound quality is almost perfect. I don't know how earbuds can ever be perfect. In my opinion perfect sound can only come from high end surround sound systems. I love listening to music. I hate when earbuds have a flat tone, I need some bass to my music! These Skullcandy Earbuds partnered with Bose, definitely deliver. Combined with thee app, you can set the equalizer to your preferred setting. I like a lot of bass and higher trebble. I have never had earbuds that could deliver such great sound.The Active Noise Canceling (ANC) is actually really good. I had my earbuds in listening to my music while my wife and son were playing a game on the XBOX with the stereo surround sound on. I could not hear them talking, nor could I hear the sound coming from the stereo. That was truly awesome to me. I have a set of headphones that are for hearing protection that I use when I am mowing, and they don't really cancel out the noise as well as these Scullcandy. I haven't worn these to mow yet, but I would be amazed if these would perform to my liking for mowing music. I will definately have to return and edit my review with my findings after I've worn these Skullcandy while mowing.I love the Stay Aware setting. I can hear my music perfectly, but still can hear my son when he comes to me to ask for something. The sound quality of my music is unchanged with ANC or Stay Aware on. Turning off ANC the music sounds weird. I'm not sure how to describe it other than weird. I will just listen with ANC or Stay Aware on.I love that with the app you can customize the function of the taps. You can customize one, two, or three taps as well as press and hold setting for each earbud individually. This is perfect for me. I set my left ear single tap to play/pause, double tab to play previous song, triple tap adjusts ANC setting, and hold for volume down. I set my right earbud single tap play/pause, double tap play next song, triple tap adjusts ANC setting, and hold volume up. I absolutely love I can distinguish up/down and previous track/next track with each ear. I love I don't have to get my phone out to adjust volume or change tracks. Other earbuds fail where these Skullcandy pick up. I haven't found any other ear buds that can have each ear perform different tasks upon tap controls.Overall I am very pleased with these Skullcandy Method 360 ANC XT Sound by Bose. They are a good slightly higher budget friendly earbuds. You wont have to pay the high cost of getting high end Bose earbuds, but still get very similar sound experience.

I’ve been a loyal Skullcandy customer for nearly two decades and have generally been satisfied with their products. Unfortunately, this particular pair of headphones has some noticeable issues that made them hard to use from the start.The biggest problem is the overly sensitive touch controls. Every time I put them on, the headphones turn on and off repeatedly until I can get them seated just right. Even my hair occasionally activates the touch button, which gets frustrating quickly.I also had to replace one of the ear cushions, and now the headphones don’t fit properly in the case, making it difficult to charge. This could be user error, but I haven’t felt motivated to troubleshoot it further because of the overly sensitive touch control being an active annoyance.Because of these frustrations, I haven’t used them long enough to evaluate the sound quality. I’m posting this review on the Skullcandy website in hopes that this feedback helps improve future models. As they are now, they just aren’t worth the money.

I’ll give them an 8/10 for now. First day trying them, so haven’t gotten to all the features. Haven’t taken calls yet, which for the enc model there’s multiple reviews saying they make you sound muffled.I don’t know if the last set of ear pods I had spoiled me which was a set of jabras, but I was definitely expecting a crispier sound from these.Update: Alright these have grown on me. 8.5/10 I don’t know if the speakers needed to warm up or what, but the sound is crisp, bass sounds great.Like all earbuds, these ain’t perfect. When I’m working out sometimes they do gone in an out, but it’s due to the earbuds not being placed correctly all the way in my ear, and the sensor to stop playing when you take them off gets triggered. The touch controls are a bit sensitive, pros and cons to that.After playing around with them for a solid couple months, I’d say these are definitely worth it for the price.

They cut in and out. Tried to do all the reset options, still would cut in and out. Bought two. Did that with both of them. Would not buy again. Good case. Good battery.
