Well engineered and carries a 10 yr guarantee. Robust and business-like
The media could not be loaded. This will be a fantastic Christmas present for someone into prepping, DIY, or outward bounds. At first sight I thought the tool looked rather rough and unfinished, then on closer inspection I realised that it has been designed and crafted to look purposeful and already used to a rough environment. The metal has been treated to give this ready worn appearance, as opposed to a brand new shiny thing that has never been used. I guess a bit like the stonewash distressed look of some Jeans. Under that exterior however, lies a beautifully engineered tool with precision fittings and one of the finest metals available. So what is "50Cr15Mov, also known as X50CrMoV15 or 1.4116"? It's a stainless steel alloy that's commonly used to make high-end knives, cutlery, and surgical instruments: 50Cr15Mov contains 0.5% carbon, 15% chromium, and small amounts of molybdenum and vanadium. The properties of this alloy are some of the best features of this tool. IT's corrosion and rustproof and has a strong durable resistance to breakage and wear. Ideal for someone who is actually going to use it and expect a great performance that does not degrade over time.I was very impressed with the action of the shears and pliers. Sharp, precise and machined to fine tolerance. It also has some unusual tools such as a quick release cable tie cutter, and yes, this clearly designed to be used, single handed and easily operated even behind your back! There is one tricky and potentially failure point that I should mention. There is replaceable tool section that comes with a small screwdriver installed. If I extend the strap cutter to 90 degrees at the same time as the screw driver, it's possible to get the screwdriver stuck in a no return condition. (see video)A small issue and you have to read the instructions in the user leaflet to know about this, so as to be able to fold it back should the lock problem occur. Basically only use one of these tools at a time. If the screwdriver gets stuck simply pull the tool nest to it out to 90 degrees and it will return properly.Expensive, but form what I can see a very useable and robust pocket tool. Worth noting that it also carries a ten year guarantee. A lot different to the Leatherman or other top brands and I suspect more for the user who actually gets it out of their pocket uses it, and benefits from the real tools onboard.

Powerhouse of a multi tool and rock solid build
I have been using this chunky multitool, really is an absolute unit, for the past couple of weeks and I have to say that this is probably one of the better tools I have come across. The construction of it is quite robust. The blackened stone washed finish on the steel not only looks elegant but also gives a perception that it can handle a lot in terms of use, wear and tear, I really feel confident that it's going to weather years or decades or regular use. Using it, feels really solid and can't understate again how robust it is, gives me the confidence that it is really well built. All the parts move freely enough, do have to push the wee button / mechanisms for some parts to come out, which is by design and also keeps them locked in place once open too. In terms of having 14 different tools in it, definitely makes it a very versatile bit of kit to own. I have personally used it to cut through thick zip ties with the guillotine like strap cutter, as well as using the pliers for small repairs or even bending metal into place. The shears are a good pair of industrial scissors that have have been able to cut through everything I tried them on including heavy fabrics and plastics, and I would say they are a plus since most multitools come with small scissors which are janky because you are constantly opening and closing them to get through anything not so small. The knife was as sharp as one of my kitchen knifes right out out the box and I have used it to cut through cardboard and some cords so far, very fast. It is reasonably compact for the build quality of it and the materials as well as the high quality tools built into it. Did come with a decent cover which I have managed to fix on one of my work belts easily enough. Value wise well it is certainly on the high side but it is really made to last, it's rock solid and probably the best multi tool I have ever had the pleasure of owning, as for their 10 year warranty I'm not sure I would actually need to use it as the thing seems solid.

Decent tool had to sharpen blades though
Decent tool but arrived and the blades for cutting and seatbelt cutter were very dull. Spent 15 minutes sharpening them and now we are all good.Maybe it was just mine and I expect blades to be very sharp out the box and this wasn’t.

I use it all the time
I’ve been using this 14-in-1 Multi-Tool for a while now, and it’s become an essential part of my everyday carry. It’s packed with useful tools, including shears, pliers, a saw, harness scissors, a bottle opener, a screwdriver and wire cutters. The variety makes it incredibly versatile, and having both scissors and pliers in such a compact tool is a huge plus. The build quality is excellent — it feels premium, made from high-quality metal that’s sturdy and reliable. Despite its solid construction, it’s still lightweight enough to carry daily.I’ve lost count of how many times it’s come in handy for quick fixes and everyday tasks. Whether it’s opening a bottle, cutting through packaging, or tightening a screw, it’s always ready. If you’re looking for a compact yet durable multi-tool, this one is well worth considering. It’s practical, well-built, and a great companion for daily use.
