This is my favorite hand mirror. It's great for close-up viewing and (by turning around the base -- in my hand) viewing normally. I just leave it standing on my counter and pick it up by holding the "stem" in the direction I need to view. Thus I am not wearing-out the base mechanism by constantly turning it. It works great. I have made a concerted effort to NOT drop it on the floor. So far, so good. If I should drop it and break one of the mirrors, I will immediately buy a new one just like it.

This works great! I haven’t worn makeup for years because I can’t see without my glasses. This works well so I can see what I’m doing.

I love this mirror! It is lightweight. The handle makes it easy to lean on your leg while examining and tweezing your face. The light is great as well, although I wish it would hold the charge longer.

Mirror is nice, in hind sight I wish I looked for a 5X instead. Overall decent weight, with a tight pivoting base. Charged the battery once, and still works for five minutes a day. The ON/OFF Dimmer switch combo is easy to use and understand after you play with it for a couple minutes. It has three different light tone? colors? to simulate florescent lights daylight and I'm not sure what. I guess that's for applying makeup (which I don't, and I bet you'd need a larger mirror for). Great for finding the cat hair I get in my eyes, and shaving so I don't miss a spot.

I really like this mirror. It can stand alone and is tall enough to put on a dresser or shelf. Fits in my toiletries bag. I love the light up feature.

This magnified mirror was supposed to be magnification of 30 X. I compared it to my own mirror of 20 X and it was exactly the same amount of magnification. I am really disappointed and am sending it back.

This is a great travel mirror and the lightening really helps. The 30X magnification is great, but you must be within 4-6 inches to get the full effect without distortion. I like that it has a fold away stand too.
