A beast in size of an iPad. Best for karaoke at home and small eventss
It's size of an iPad, works like a beast. Top notch Quality and sound clarity. Best suited for karoke at home and small functions.I set up karaoke using Shure SV200 microphone and youtube connected from my mobile. Output was to a 2.1 creative computer speaker.Long delay is better than vocal echo function on this. We can adjust echo repeat as per our taste. However we can only use either reverb or delay, not both.I have compared this with Studiomaster AIR6 mixer. Studiomaster sounds artificial and fine adjustments is difficult. Yamaha is a league apart compared to studiomaster.

Nice little box
Its a fun little mixer to use for solo or duo performances live. Its also quite useful at a studio as a sub mixer. Wish it had USB & Panning options but for the price & build quailty, its nice neat little package. It's small enough to carry along. The XLR inputs are gold plated on it, which is nice to see at this price point. The effects are basic with just a level control but nicely put together such that they suit nicely for vocals or acoustic guitars.Overall I like it

Sound Quality is not good
I'm using Mackie Profx 8v2 due phantom power issue, I purchased Yamaha mixer MG6X, tested, the sound quality is not as like in comparing to Mackie mixer, I'll return if it is applicable

Disappointing
I thought I will have a better mixer now and it will enhance my sound quality on Facebook Live but all in vain, now when I m using my yamaha mixer then pitch of music I am hearing on my headphones is different and the audience is listening is so disturbing, pitch of song continuously goes on changing through out the whole session . I waste a lot of money on my new headphones and new mics as I thought the problem might be there but now I came to know that my mixer is the main culprit of which returning period has lapsed too , now tell me what to do

High quality mixer at entry level
Chose this entry level Yamaha Mixer primarily for doing karaoke at home. Was tempted to go for the much cheaper Soundmaster (by Ahuja) and Behringer. But decided to spend more and get this Yamaha unit. And I must say that I am really happy with my decision.Build Quality: The device, knobs and connectors feel solid and well built. Looks like they can withhold sustained long term use.Ease of Use: Fairly simple to setup and intuitive to use.Sound Effects: This is the cherry on the top. Yamaha is famous for their DSP circuits and this device is no exception. For all those choosing between MG06 (no effects) and MG06X (with effects), would recommend spending a few extra bucks to get the 6X. The echo and reverb effects are really cool on the vocals/mic inputs.Sound Quality: Full marks on this. Have tried multiple input and output combinations. The sound quality even on the mic is awesome. The noise levels surprisingly for an entry level device are low. No static which you come to expect from mics (using with Shure SV200). The only weak link could be your cables and connectors. All in all, would recommend this to anybody attempting a decent home karaoke / podcast setup.

The best product i have ever purchased,
If you are confused that a analog mixer can not record on mobile or laptop and you should purchase a sound card instead of this than i recommend you to purchase it randomly because only adding an irig of 650/- rs you can easily do all thisAnd as far as sound quality is concern than there is no match of YamahaEvery one knows it
