Well, Color Me Happy!!!
These are great! I'm pleasantly surprised.Due to sensory issues, finding the perfect earbuds can be absolutely frustrating. And, by golly gosh, I do believe I struck gold with these!Sometimes my cat keeps me up at night meowing so I knew I needed some that would be a good fit for laying my head on the pillow. These stood out to me because they looked like they could possibly, and finally, not leave me wanting to claw my ears off.I took the chance and purchased them due to the good reviews and after seeing pictures of what they looked like sitting in the ear from other customers. After using these earbuds frequently for the past week, I don't have any complaints, so I will list all the qualities that are pros to me.1. They're discreet. Your eyes don't immediately jump to them because they hide well in the ear and they are not bright and bold in color. If you prefer something more discreet, these may be a good option for you.2. They cancel out just enough noise to be comforting. I like that they are not completely noise canceling. I appreciate that I can still hear while simultaneously having dimmed the intensity of loud and overwhelming noises that come with being out in public, at events, grocery store, etc.I went to a play last night and I could still hear what was happening just fine while also feeling comforted. I still had them in during intermission and was able to hear my aunt and carry a conversation just fine without having to take them out to hear her. These earbuds gently lower the intensity of over-stimulating noises and allow me to still enjoy certain activities and/or get through unfavorable situations that greatly overstimulate me.3. I appreciate the variety of sizing in the buds and that they included a size XS. While the mediums were okay, the XS's are perfect for me. Perfect size for my sensory needs and perfect size for sleeping. They fit just right in my ears, and my ears don't end up badly aching after having slept in them. When I tried sleeping with the mediums it was a no-go, but I switched to the XS and it felt SO much better all around and I was able to sleep. While I could tolerate the mediums for being out and about, once I switched to the XS's, I wondered why I didn't switch them sooner.4. Great for sleeping for me. I had not found an earbud that I could tolerate for very long until these. So the fact that I'm able to sleep with these things says A LOT. I don't have to keep adjusting my head so that they don't hurt or bother me.5. I hardly know they are there. Once I go on about my activities, it doesn't take long before I don't notice them much. It doesn't feel like my entire ear is busting with an earbud. I don't have to keep reajusting them to relieve aching. My tragus and rook piercings are not bothered at all when using them which THRILLS me.They're also very lightweight, and sit in my ears so subtly that I just about forget that I have them in.6. They're nicely compact and easy to transport. The design of the earbuds and case are brilliant. The color(s), shape, size, and smooth texture are very pleasing to me. I chose the iridescent lilac and they are beautiful without being too loud in appearance. I very much appreciate the loop attached to the case, too. I hooked mine onto my bag and they go with me everywhere.7. Money well-spent. I think these are worth every penny. I appreciate that they are not outrageously priced, that they are great quality, and meet my personal needs well.If you're looking for something closer to complete noise cancellation, these most likely aren't for you; however, if any of the above applies to you then you may be pleasantly surprised like I was when I tried them.I'm highly pleased! 12/10, would recommend!

Engage 2 has the lowest sound reduction.
If you want the model with the lowest sound reduction, these are the ones from this line up. They worked great for the Disturbed concert! I wouldn't go up in the reduction rating unless you have particularly sensitive ears. I have sensitive ears but this was enough protection for sure. In fact I might have used the smaller inserts to hear even more, had I brought them. But the regular fitting inserts did the job well, for what they're able to do.Unfortunately the sound quality does drop somewhat because after all, we are blocking it somewhat. I considered electronic buds that drop the sound when the decibels hit a certain level but if they work like the over-the-ear phones I've used they will drop dangerous sound levels to a point where you barely hear it. So the sound might be jumping from clear to super low for safety, but not great for music. So I went with the Loop brand for the numbers mainly. Other brands don't seem to offer a model with this low of a rating, which equals more sound. The clear units are almost invisible if you want to be discreet and not look like "the old guy with ear plugs" :)I purchased two pairs and found what some other reviewers did, that some cases don't snap shut super tight. Be careful since these are expensive to be blunt. But a small price compared to hearing damage discomfort that can last from hours to days, or worse.

Quiet(ish) Comfort in a Chaotic World
I’ve been testing the Loop Engage 2 in one of the noisiest places imaginable: a commercial bakery. Pots banging, carts squealing, music blaring—basically the soundtrack of a stress dream. And these little loops? They’ve been holding their own like champs.Fit-wise? Surprisingly comfy. I wear them for 8-hour shifts, and while I can still feel them, they don’t bug me. I tested all the ear tip sizes like a nerd on a mission and found the perfect match. Once in, they do not budge. I could cartwheel through a flour storm, and they’d stay put. (Not that I’ve tried. Yet.)Sound-wise? They don’t erase noise, but they turn the volume down on the world just enough. Pans crashing? Muffled. Music? Manageable. Speech? Still audible, though a bit dampened—which honestly helps me filter the “need to know” from the background blah-blah. Perfect for managing overstim without checking out completely.I got the clear ones because I like flying under the radar—no one assumes I’m ignoring them or pretending to be a secret agent. Design-wise, they’re sleek, discreet, and surprisingly firm. I expected squishy silicone, but these are solid little units. Not uncomfortable, just more durable than I thought. Now for the spicy bit: Are they worth the price? Ehhh… for what they are, I’d say they’re a bit on the pricey side. But for what they do—help me stay sane in chaos? Priceless. They’re miles better than traditional plugs. You still get situational awareness without feeling like your head’s underwater.

Every parent should own a pair!
I've just purchased a pair of these on a whim because I'm solo parenting my two kids (8m, 1.5f) while my partner is away for the week and I realized, why have my noise cancelling headphones on without anything playing when I can just have something like this? Just like many people, I'm easily overstimulated by noise, so just getting through a day alone without feeling overwhelmed can be hard, but these earplugs are amazing!I've had them in since school let out and I haven't shouted at my children to turn the volume down once in nearly 6 hours!! Only the normal stuff!! So I can confirm also that as life-changing as they are, they do not in fact change your children's willingness to eat food off the floor, pull last night's empty milk jug out of the recycle bin, walk in on you in the bathroom, jump off the couch, and throw perfectly good cups of water on the ground in a fit of rage (and that's just my 1 year old) 🤷♀️ At least you won't lose your crap over the noise of it all!
