Always liked Rain Bird product. Decided to give this a try. Unit was extremely easy to setup. Also bought the Rain/Freeze Sensor as well which also was super easy to install and link to this control unit. Setup with WiFi was easy. App is easy to navigate and works great. I can control my home irrigation from anywhere! Super nice to know it's working and it sends alerts if there's any problems. Glad with the purchase.

What a great sprinkler timer. The name Rainbird is synonymous with lawn sprinklers. It took all of 5 minutes to install and wire up to my existing lawn sprinkler system. You can program many different cycles without needing a doctorate in science. You can also set it up where the weather forecast will adjust your watering times automatically. I cannot say enough good things about this timer and the price makes it a fantastic purchase.I highly recommend this timer.

It is easy to replace my 25 years old sprinkler controller with this one. Configuration is easy. It does adjust watering time based on weather. Just the rain delay only allows selection from 70% and higher. I wish they would allow me to select 50% or 51%, since we are close to ocean that even 40% chance of rain could have some rainfalls. The more selections the better.

This is the most recent of several Rainbird controllers I've owned. It was a bargain at about $70 and it functions better than any of the past controllers that had WIFI integration. The earlier WIFI controllers worked fine, but they all had occasional problems connecting to the phone app. The connection was typically dropped when I was trying to water manually or when I was adjusting a program or programs. This new controller, which is lighter and apparently less durable than the prior controllers, works like a charm. Like the others, it was simple to install. As long as your controller is situated indoors (mine is in the garage) and you have a good WIFI connection there, my experience suggests this device will suit your needs.

On a previous home, I owned the Arc 8 and I was very happy with it. It's easy to wire the unit, and set up in the app is straightforward. Its simple to connect a rain sensor and control it remotely from anywhere. Programs work well and it does everything I need it to do.

Would not connect to Wi-Fi. Rainbird is okay with sprinklers, but seem pretty clueless when it comes to modern technology.

Came complete with built in WiFi - easy to connect and program. Also easy to run one or more stations manually.

Easy to install and so far it work well. Only downfall is you cannot select a specific zone you must go through the zones to select the one you want.
