Lives up to Laura Ashley name for quality & design
This is a great whistle kettle, lives up to the laura Ashley name excellent design, fabulous colour( already got toaster) so really sets of my kitchen, excellent kettle is a big 3lt capacity, very easy to clean, well made, bit price but well worth the money. Excellent quality, excellent service, excellent warranty, design fabulous.

Disappointing present
Beautiful design, however avoid buying it if you’re looking to use on gas stove. Loosing its beautiful appearance and yellowing quickly , after 1st use really which does not match item’s description/specification.Very disappointed as this was sent abroad as a surprise for Christmas.

Works great on my induction hob
Lovely looking kettle. It's works great on my induction hob. Because I can use it in the hob it isn't taking up worktop space. It's a lovely design and great value for money

Looks pretty
Looks pretty but very uncomfortable to fill with water as handle does not bend, also handle heats and needed to use the cloth to pour water out, further, to pour water you need to adjust and almost tip kettle over, this put strain on the wrist. Unfortunately, nice exterior became yellow, probably from the heating in one week. Delivery was very prompt and packaged very securely. In general, I am not very happy with the product and will not recommend, unless using only for decorative purposes.

Not as good as it looks
Sadly this will be taken to a charity shop as soon as I can buy a better stove top kettle. It's heavy without water in it. The lid metal on top gets hot - which make re filling fun. I'm and averaged sized hand for a lady and I can't hold the handle and the spout lifter at the same time. Full with water it's so heavy to tilt that I've missed the cup too many times for it to be safe for me. Finally on an induction hob it does heat up but no quicker than an electric kettle - I'm guessing it's because the base is not sitting on the glass top only the rim is and be abuse of this it sounds like you've got a train in your kithen when you power up. I must be using more electric because of this slow boil - no other pan I use takes this long on the induction hob. It's lovely quality - as it feels sturdy and it looks pretty but I've wasted £60.

So beautiful.
Love this kettle, looks so pretty in the kitchen & sits on the hob perfectly. Beautifully made & the whistle is nice & loud! Handle does not get hot when heating water. Easy to clean. Water does take a bit longer to boil but as long as you’re not in a great rush, then no worries.

Defective. Discoloured after 5 uses.
Very unhappy with this kettle. It discoloured after 5 uses. Also, you need an oven mitt when pouring as it's too hot to handle. Beautiful floral design but badly made. I am returning this defective laura ashley kettle
