We got this for a preteen kiddo who got a Russian blue kitty for Christmas. She loved the book. She read the whole thing in a day or two. Following her reading the book she gave me tons of facts about the breed. She really enjoyed the book

We just got our first Russian Blue and she seems so different from any other cat we've had so wanted to learn more. You can also learn a lot from Youtube videos but I like books! It's a short book so you can quickly absorb the information and have it handy to refer to. Written by a human instead of a Chatbot, which is one of the reasons I chose it.

We bought this book, came pretty quickly and now my family and me are having so much fun reading it together.Apparently the writer is german, as we are and since I spent A LOT on our third russian blue cat and probably not last (haha) and we wanted to improve our care for them, this book just felt perfect. So happy I found it by accident, only published this July.Unfortunately it is only published in black and white, but has such cool and eye-opening content for russian blue lovers, that we really don't care. I have seen a lot of books on cats that have loads of colored pictures and are then very weak in content or even writing style. In any case, we let it stand in our living-room because the cover is really nice... 5 stars!

This is a good book for the individual who already knows something about cats and their care in general.If you are looking for a complete guide as a first time cat owner (as I was) this book will not be sufficient.This is however more than sufficient to get you to know the Russian Blue breed and its quirks, it offers practical advice and is very much worth getting for all the extra information that is not available in a general cat book.The beautiful pictures are an added bonus.

My sweet 'Oliver' died just a few days ago. This book, with it's beautiful pictures and easy to understand explanations of why cats do what they do is a basic read in an afternoon. This breed of feline is absolutely gorgeous.They will definitely become your best friend and vice versa. I will treasure all sixteen years I had with him. I'm so thankful for this book. Perfect cat. I am about to take possession of a pedigree Russian Blue Kitten . This book completely lived up to its Owner's Manual Title! It contained generous amounts of practical info. An extensive table of contents provides a great reference book quality. An easy read...

As. A Russian Blue breeder of 40+ years I found a great deal of misinformation in this book. And while it has a few nuggets of accuracy I don't think this author actually researched the breed by interviewing experienced breeders & owners. Rather copying snippets from websites and other books - for example taking, almost verbatim, the frequently asked questions from my breed club website- which I wrote. She also lists a couple of fellow breeders at the back of the book, at least one of which was unaware of being named.
