Great product.
Good quality, the bucket and claw are metal. The tiny grub screw in the bag with the claw pins, goes in the tiny hole on the lower claw, right side, took me ages to sus out why the bucket wouldn't work. Works great not. Gonna get my grandson 1 too.

Dipper Arm not working out of the box
Over all impression of the model is very good. Amazon delivered on time and well secured in its packaging. However, do not need a mechanical break down Christmas morning. Bought for grandson and he was very pleased with his new excavator. It was clear from the start that there a fault with the dipper arm (the main boom arm) not responding to commands from controller. Luckily both Granddad and Dad are mechanical/electrical engineers. Once controller was checked and found to be in order the rig was opened up. Un-soldered wire to dipper control motor found and 're-soldered'. Rig then fully operational. Christmas saved.

Great fun !!!
Seems well made and solid, and does all it should. Battery lasts quite well, but bought 2 x 1400mah @ £10 from other seller (you can guess). Bucket motor a bit weak…..but practice the knack of using lower arm plus bucket to scoop——thus using two motors at once !! Overall…:.very pleased !!!!!!It struggled to scoop sand, so am using dirt cheap Macaroni from Aldi which is much better (£2.25 buys you 2.5kg)….and easy to pick up spills on carpets….

Great toy. Battery Hmm
There’s a couple of things I’m not overly impressed aboutFirstly there’s a button on the remote control which cuts the power and then has to be reset on the digger to get it going again. The button is too close to the main buttons and is easily accidentally pressedSecondlyBattery life isn’t good enough. It needs a more powerful battery. The manufacturers must look at ways to improve this
