So Much Fun!
I purchased this set for our 2-year-old granddaughter for Easter and she loved it. It was easy and quick to put together. We’ve played with it for hours and served everyone ice cream with sprinkles. It is a little tough for her to crank the handle, but she is able to do it if I hold the machine steady for her. We always have so much fun with Play-doh!

Hours of fun!
We received as a Christmas gift for my 4 year old. It’s well made but lining up the press at the top for making play dough ice cream is a little tricky for small hands. I also wish that play dough made it easier to open the tubs of new play dough. Some of them are so hard I have had to use tools to do it. Overall it’s a wonderful toy, age appropriate and has been hours of fun.

SIMPLY DOESN'T WORK.
Simply doesn't work. I'm a mechanically minded engineer. Just had a great time playing with Play-Doh with my 4 1/2 year old grandson, UNTIL MY WIFE BROUGHT THIS THING OUT. I assembled it, we loaded it up and ... FAIL. We used brand new fresh Play-Doh so it wasn't too hard, but the main plunger extruded about 1/2 of it or less, and took way too much pressure - enough so that that stopped the cone spinning mechanism. Worse, the rest flowed past the plunger and up the sides because the plunger is such a terrible fit inside the tube. My grandson barely had the strength to push the lever down enough to get ANY "ice cream". And if you lift the lever high enough to bring the plunger up to where you can clean, the lever falls off and you have to reassemble it. Then there's the "star dispenser" - it works but again, a lot of material is squeezed to the wrong side of the plunger so you have to take it apart and try again. Then, it leaves excess play-doh down at the bottom of its tube. If this is left to harden there it will never work again, but it is very hard to clean out. This COULD be a really cool toy if it was better engineered but as is it is truly a worthless piece of junk and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Its a great idea but...
Its a great idea and my daughter loves it, and I can't complain too much it is an extremely cheap product but the ice cream handle broke after like 5 uses. Wouldnt mind paying a little more for a more quality product.
