Compact, Smart, and Insightful – Great Value!
The Meross Matter Smart Plug Mini has been a fantastic addition to my smart home setup. It was super easy to set up using Apple Home, and it connected flawlessly thanks to Matter support—no extra apps or hassle. The compact size is a big plus—it doesn’t block the second outlet, and it fits neatly behind furniture. The real standout feature is the energy monitoring. I can finally see how much power my devices are using in real time, which has helped me make smarter energy choices. It works reliably with automations and voice control (tested with Siri and Alexa), and the response time is instant. For the price, you’re getting premium features and solid performance.Highly recommend if you want a future-proof smart plug with energy insights!

Great value
These work well and the app is quite quick when using the functions . I have found set up to be OK not very difficult but best if you have a 2.4g band only on your router when ,power drops it can take some time for these to appear back on the app . Works with alexa and I use these for powering tvs , lamps , speakers and other devices in the home . They are great to set up with routines and can help control your electricity bills and keep devices off in a room that you are currently not using . I previously had old wemo plugs where the wifi was dropping to often. These are far more stable . But best not to disconnect them from power as it does take time for them to come back to the app or you have to reset them up.

The best plugs for HomeKit
For the price, these plugs have to be the best to use with HomeKit, exactly what I needed. They work seamlessly with Siri and in the Home app. Takes literally 1 minute to add to your system and conveniently sized to fit in most sockets without getting in the way. A fraction of the price of some of the better known brands, but when they just work, why waste your money with that. I have over 10 of these dotted around the house with various appliances now turned “smart”. Being able to turn the kettle on before going downstairs, setting automations for an extractor fan in the bathroom, warming the bed with a heated blanket for just enough time for it to be nice and toasty, or having a fan stay on for a bit on the warmer days There are many different uses and I’ve not had one fail me yet. Will recommend these to anyone in the market.

Works as expected - integrated into Apple HomeKit and can control via Siri or HomeKit app
Reviewed Jan 2024:We've 3 of these.. A 4 gang version in the shed, and a couple of the 6 gang versions that are in the house. The shed one is connected to a motion detector and internal and external cameras, the idea being that if there are connection problems with those devices, I can reboot them from the power strip. To be fair, I've not yet had to do this, but I'm a little paranoid about stuff getting pinched. In the house, one is on my desk, so PC, monitors, powered USB hub and the other one is in the bedroom, powering AppleTV, TV, soundbar, etc. I bought both of these because they were on sale around black Friday and they replaced cheap power strips that did not have individual switches per gang (yet along the ability to control them remotely). As I'm typing this review, I'm asking myself if I really need these to be connected and remotely controlled.... Perhaps I will want to shut them down at the power source if I'm away for a long period of timne, maybe I'll be saving a tiny amount of standby power if I was to power them down from a day to day perspective, but so far, I've not been motivated to do this.Away from the use, what I can say...Setting them up and getting them connected was really easy.. Note I'm using Apple homekit, and for me, the QR scanning code rarely works during setup, this might be as a result of my antique iPhone. But setting them up in the Meross app was relatively straight forward.TIP: Keep the box so you know exactly what item you are setting up in the Meross app, as there are several model numbers to choose from.

Great value, reliable plugs that work with Google.
I got 4 of these for the price of one hive plug and they are not worth a penny less. I got expensive hive bulbs which are very nice but also needed to control cabinet led lights from 4 plugs. Setup was easier than I can imagine and now I can just hey Google turn on or off plug A/B/C/D using my Google nest speaker. I was hesitant and have been doing IT all my life and these have so far exceeded my expectations.

Simple Smart kit
What a product very neat and tidy, hardly noticeable next generation smart plugs. The handy little guide to installation could not be simpler. Pairs very easily and links to Alexa without the usual faff. This has replaced an analogue timer that is a bit limiting. I have set this up to come on at dusk so more intuitive.
