I absolutely LOVE this monopod because it takes a fraction of the space of a conventional tripod, making it less likely to be tripped over, and way more versatile to move around.I love the fact that I can fit it into tight spaces that were too small for a tripod such as between my desk and a nearby bookcase. In fact, the flat bottom even lets you slide it under furniture so you have even more flexibility to move it right next to other furniture or move it so the pole is right against a desk and the base slides nearly underneath it. For that reason alone it's the perfect mount for a lot of content creators who do talking head videos while seated at a desk.The biggest thing for me is that I'm also a lot less likely to trip over the legs in my cramped studio space. The base is just the right size to ensure it remains stable, but for those who are concerned about tipping it over, you can easily place sandbags or weights on the flat bottom.The top of the pole is a standard screw mount, so you can attach floating heads, lights or just about anything.It's well made and very sturdy, and it locks in place with even the heaviest camera or lighting rig.

I bought a 2 pack of the A400s and a single A300. I love them. They are much better than a tripod and light stands that take up so much space and present too many tripping hazards for me at 76. I was worried they wouldn't hold my heavy lights and camera with a big lens, but they did! I photograph food from a corner of my bedroom, so space is a big issue. In the picture, my set-up is tucked away in the corner. The lights and camera are pulled out when I am working, and they do not budge! The first image is the before, and the second is the after, with my new stands. I couldn't be happier!

Very easy to use and assemble. I love that it comes with the adaptor. I use this for my softbox lighting for my photo booth. Great quality!

It fits where sometimes a regular lightstand won't. Less trip hazard. Well-designed. Heavy steady floor plate. Easy to adjust up and down. Grab a 3/8 f to 1/4 m adapter, and a small ball head; you now can it with use about any typical film item. We also use its two smaller versions, the 200 and the 300.
