A must have in Florida!
So far so good. The ice quality is perfect. It's the crunchy hospital ice! No issues with leaking and super easy to use. Just add water to fill line and start. It starts making ice right away and we had a full basket in no time! Make sure after receiving it you let is sit the correct way for 24 hours before starting the ice maker. It has a very sleek appearance and doesn't take up much space. Im pretty sure my keurig 2.0 is a bigger than this! I would highly recommend this ice maker!

Love at first crunch! 🧊💙
This little machine has totally leveled up my drinks. The nugget ice is soft, chewable, and just the right kind of satisfying—exactly like the good ice you get at fancy drink places.Setup was super easy, and I love that it’s just one button to get it going. It starts making ice pretty quickly and keeps a steady supply going. I use it for everything—iced coffee, sparkling water, even cocktails when friends come over. The blue color is cute and adds a fun pop to my kitchen counter. And the self-cleaning feature, huge plus. I don’t have to stress about maintenance. If you’re a nugget ice fan, this machine is 100% worth it. It’s become one of my favorite kitchen gadgets!

Love it
I got this for Mother’s Day. I am using it every day to make my ice coffee. I was expecting it to be louder but its pretty quiet. It starts making ice about 7 minutes after you turn it on. I just need to buy a container to store in the freezer. Loving it.

Perfect ice!
Good purchase! I’m an ice eater and this is the perfect ice! Nice and soft. Seems to take a little bit to get going, but I’m sure it’s normal. It’s a little loud, especially if you’re not used to having that background noise going. We have really hard water in our area, so I’ve been using purified water. Overall, so far I’m happy with the purchase and the ice size & texture was exactly what I was looking for. One last thing, you have to take the ice out periodically as it’s making/ accumulating to put straight in your cup or store in the freezer, it will not stay frozen in the maker.

Wouldn’t buy again!
VERY high maintenance machine!! Makes ice, BUT… DO NOT LET WATER SIT IN THIS UNIT - NOT EVEN FOR ONE DAY! I go through a LOT of ice! I make ice every other day. When I had to replace my Avalon Bay Ice Cube Maker I was incredibly disappointed that they no longer make countertop models. That unit lasted me for 12 years! Maintenance on my Avalon Bay machine was incredibly simple. I rubbed it down thoroughly with lemon juice probably every other week, and once a month ran a lemon juice mixture through the machine. I never had any issues with my machine (and once a quarter gave it a cleaning with vinegar water). The ice always tasted fresh and clean. Its downfall was when the scoop finally broke. 12 years NO chemical cleaning necessary! Remember, I make a LOT of ice, so it performed famously! This new machine is SO high maintenance! I make approximately one and a half full reservoirs of ice cubes every other day, so the machine NEVER sits inactive long. If I leave any trace of water in this unit overnight, when I fill the reservoir with water I get black floating gunk/film emerge from the tube that sucks the water up into the unit. After making ice I have to tilt the machine to ensure that all water is emptied when I am done making ice. I also remove the little gasket/cover inside the reservoir, tube up a paper-towel and stick it into that tube that sucks water into the machine, tilt it forward, to help ensure all water from the tubes are evacuated. This has to be a flaw in the design that causes water to pool in the tubing in order for it to create scaling and mold of this nature within the unit.I never once had that issue with my Avalon Bay unit in 12 years. This started with Silonn unit within the first week after I got the unit. I did a thorough cleaning and descaling of the unit with chemical descalers (which I like to avoid for health reasons), then ran water and vinegar through it to ensure it is clean. Now when I make ice I have made a habit of dumping all water from the unit, making sure the unit is dry, and give it a rub-down with lemon. Now that I have started that routine I have not had anymore issues with it, but it is a pain not being able to allow water to sit in this unit for just one day. Yes, I use filtered water.

Perfect Ice maker
I’m giving it 5 stars because it’s exactly what I was looking for. It produces ice quickly in very small nugget-style pieces.

Works but eh
Our first standalone ice maker. First of all we use it more than the fridge ice and it works as advertised.Things to note:-Ice often stacks vertically straight up to where it dispenses and stops making ice thinking it is full when its not, therefore requires a bit of shuffling to let it continue.-Maybe because the first problem or water quality (we just use sink tap water) but occasionally a good portion of the ice comes out mushy(?) anyways it aint nuggets/useable-noise, some said the noise is not that loud and its in the kitchen where there's noise anyways so its not bad but my kitchen is usually quiet unless being used. unless they only use it on demand but I was planning on leaving it on the whole time so the noise was very obvious.-no scheduling, i thought I could work around this with a smart plug but the maker stays off unless you press the power on button again-pricy for what it does and doesn't do, saw quite a few competitive prices like half off. I still question myself why I bought this over the others. Now keep in mind, I kept the ice maker and I don't have a problem with returning things I don't like. While there is a few complaints, none of it requires any mandatory action. Like the ice getting stuck, if I happen to see it and if I feel like it I'll go by and use the scoop to clear it up but its also not a problem to leave it as is. Same with crappy ice, you probably won't even notice unless you're like me and like to randomly check what the ice maker has made. The price is probably the only real negative here especially when you can get others that do the same thing for half the price.
