Easy to put up, easy to move, easy to clean and good value for money. My hens use them every day.
These nesting boxes are cheap and easy to put up. They are made of plastic and therefore easy to clean and you can just take them off to move or clean. My chickens used them straight away and now prefer these to their nesting box in their coop.

Easy to clean
Excellent easy to clean, chickens took a few weeks to decide they would use them.No back is good because they don't allow red mite to accumulate. I use a wooden shiplap shed, easily cleaned and and sprayed for mite

Good value for money.
We have just completed the flocks new coop.We initially purchased three nesting boxes which we fixed onto the coop wall and filled with bedding.The hens love their new nest boxes and we will be buying two more for them.The boxes are a perfect size for the girls and the boys are even keen to try them out .

Favourite nesting box by far
It took a couple of weeks for my girls to use it but it is now their favourite nesting box by far and queue up to use it every morning. I love that it is so easy to clean.

Good idea but could be better built
A good idea but it could have been better designed and built:* The perch is flimsy and the chickens keep flipping it up and blocking the entrance to the box. Needs a better fixing and could be extended further away from the entrance to the box.* The box itself does not have a back wall. This is problematic in red mite season if it is affixed to wood.* The box and especially the entrance could be slightly bigger - our Speckledy just fits through the entrance. The front edge could also be slightly higher to better retain nesting material.Having said that, it is cheap and does the job after a few adjustments.

Excellent
I have 16 chickens. I bought a new plastic shed (rather than my 6 x 4 wooden one) to avoid red mite. The chickens really missed their wooden laying boxes and started to get angry with each other. I bought one of these and instantly the hens fought to lay in them. I had to order a new one toute de suite. I was made up with this purchase and would recommend it to everyone ! Fabulous
