The forks break easily

They completely broke
we tried fixing it and we fixed it and then it just came out our eight-year-old son had it for one day. The pin wouldn’t stay in. We ended up returning it and replacing it with a excavator.

I think as expecting plastic attachments for this construction toy, as is standard. They are metal, so they're not likely to break.Unfortunately, the attachments don't stay on without a little gaffers tape or something to help. They just gravity hang on the front carriage piece.
