My son absolutely loved this! He has so much fun putting it together and learning as he read and followed the instructions. It was easy to assemble and he played with it for a long time.

This thing is so cool looking! Took about five hours to assemble, as an adult who's done a lot of kits.Instructions were easy to follow. The main body rotation dial will click a bit until the burrs are worn off, after which it runs really smoothly. You may have to trim it a bit with a knife.Other than that everything works really well. It's a great way to demonstrate hydraulic mechanisms. I especially like the claw assembly. Rugged enough that my four nephews (ranging in age from 3 to 16) played with it unattended and didn't manage to break it. Definitely worth the money.

Love how kids can actually do these! Great for encouraging engineering and science!

This came with a full instruction booklet, and after about 4 hours my son had completed it. Sturdy materials, is as described. Would purchase again. Great cost for your buck and my son had so much fun with it.

The process of building the model was very advanced and required a lot of adult supervision and help to complete. Instead of water we used Baby oil in the hydraulic lines. This robot was used to explain how hydraulics work for the school science fair and the presentation won first place!

Bought this for my seven year old grandson, who loved putting it together with his father. His father was not so thrilled as it was not an easy assembly. He especially loves playing with the levers and moving the arm around. I would recommend as long as there is adult assistance as this is a challenging assembly.

The instructions have definitely been translated into English, and it shows. Sometimes the diagrams don’t match correctly with where you are in the build. The instructions were a bit confusing when it came to cutting the tubes to size. I ended up messing one up, and there aren’t any spare. I got a replacement that worked decently from a local store, but it’s looser than the others. Biggest complaint is that one of the main functional parts arrived damaged. It was one of the syringe housings. The connector for the tube was sheared off in the packaging. Obviously didn’t find this until the build was half done, and no longer returnable. I was able to make it work using some JB weld to hold it together. Shouldn’t have had to do that though.

I bought this for a teenager for his birthday, he immediately went to building it!! I can't wait to see the final product it took everything in me to not get myself one also. Lol there is still time.
