works absolutely fantastic! It is comfortable to wear, which is something I did not expect because I have thin arms, and most things won’t stay on. The size was right too. It has a nice thick plastic.And I absolutely love that at the tip is a little thumb because it allows you to do things like hold dishes if you’re getting something like tendon surgery rather than a whole cast.I can definitely say I would much rather spend $15 on this then spend weeks or months, taping a trash bag to my handover and over again.Also, because it is so easy to use, clean and dry you are much more likely to use it every time like you should. moreover, I would be willing to trust going swimming and something like that whereas a plastic garbage bag I would not..Because for people like me who are OCD and constantly in a hurry, we think if we do something stupid really quickly it will work out, and that would’ve resulted in me getting the cast wet.Absolutely worth it!

This cast cover is awesome! It’s no fun to be in a cast, but it’s especially no fun to be in a cast in the summertime when it’s hot! This cast cover is well-made and covers all the way up to the shoulder, so that I can get into the swimming pool and float around and not worry about my cast getting wet. I live in Mexico, so the cast is plaster not fiberglass and I really can’t afford to have that plaster get wet and melt off! I use it in the shower, and I use it in the pool. It has a nice little handy hook to hang it up to dry when you’re done with it also.

This product works as anticipated. The sleeve is made from quality material and won’t easily tear. It is beneficial to have someone help you to put the full arm sleeve on / off. The sleeve fits securely without being too tight. The sleeve kept my arm dry and allowed me to take a much needed shower. The sleeve comes with a loop attached to it so it can be hung in the shower to dry which is quite convenient. I wish had known about this company and their products sooner. I recommend the arm sleeve and would purchase it or similar sleeves in the future should the need arise.

I have a cast on my right hand & I'm right handed.I ordered this product for the shower.The cast cover is made of sturdy material and the upper arm part fit securely without cutting off my circulation or causing pain. It was easy to put on with my left hand. It fit well and kept the water out and my cast dry. I just dried the outside with a towel and hung it up after use. It's already lasted 3 showers and is in great shape. I recommend it.

Let's get real--most cast cover leak. But I am happy to report this one does not! I was in a cast for six weeks and I did not get it wet once. Great product. Large, so I used some first aid tape to slim it down. No problem. Saved it for my next hand surgery!

I had to have surgery on my arm and could not get it wet for 2 weeks while it was bandaged. I also had to wear a brace the entire time. I found this cast covers for a reasonable price and bought it.The good news is that it is absolutely waterproof. The rubber gasket on the end of the sleeve will seal your arm through anything short of complete immersion, and possibly even then. This is because it is very snug on your arm (at least it is on mine).The plastic is also quite durable. I think it's vinyl and it is much thicker than a typical garbage bag (the other popular alternative for cast covers in the shower).All this makes it waterproof, but also difficult to put on and take off. Wrestling it over my incision site with 1 arm was not fun, nor was getting it over my arm brace. I suspect that a cast might be even more difficult because of the larger size. I have pretty strong hands, I can't imagine what someone who is elderly or frail would do.I used this twice then switched to a garbage bag and surgical tape for the rest of my 2 weeks. This was not as waterproof (the upper part of my brace got damp once or twice) but it was WAY easier to put on and take off, and it never tugged at my incision site.Buy this if you need a really durable, really waterproof solution and can stand to fight with it a bit (or to have someone to help you). It might be tight around your arm so be careful if you suffer from poor circulation or bruise easily. For the price, it's worth it to buy and try, but don't be afraid to switch to a garbage bag and tape if this is too difficult to use.

I had to have a midline put in my arm (An IV tube that lasts a few weeks) and I was not allowed to get it wet. This item is a lifesaver! I don't have to tape stuff up and spend 20 minutes getting ready to shower. It goes on easily. The band at the top is tight and waterproof, but is not too tight. This is exactly what I needed.
