The media could not be loaded. I took a chance on this. I like the Levoit brand, I have an air purifier by them. It works great. But, there were mixed reviews on many of their humidifiers. This one, in particular, I liked the best because of the size and price but it had zero reviews. On their website, it says "new" so I guess that's why. But, I am really glad I bought this. It is so quiet, it doesn't make bubbling or gurgling noises like my Vicks humidifier did. It's a top fill which makes it really easy to pour the water in. It's a perfect size too! I keep it on my nightstand. I do have a little washcloth under it just in case it does leak because my old humidifier did all the time, but it has not yet so it's just a precaution. Despite it being smaller than my old humidifier, when filled to the max fill line it lasts pretty long before needing a refill, which is nice. It doesn't take very long to clean and comes with a brush to get in the nook and crannies (or you can just use a paper towel). It's amazing. I also love how simple it is. There was a similar one that connected to an app, but sometimes that stuff doesn't work right. This has a simple on-off dial and you adjust to how much mist you want coming out. Very easy.Now, something I have realized from scrolling through hundreds of reviews for other Levoit humidifiers and non-Levoit ones, most people don't know how to use humidifiers properly. First off, you need to read the instruction manual. There you will learn you need to use purified or distilled water. If you don't want to go and buy either of those from the store constantly, then don't use a humidifier. I buy distilled water in the jugs from the water aisle. This is especially important if you live somewhere with hard water. I live in Arizona and we have very hard water (and our house has no soft water filter), I used to use tap water in my old warm mist humidifier and there would be so much mineral build-up. I know better now. Apparently, if you use tap water in a cool-mist humidifier, it may cause white dust around the unit. But, since I use distilled I have not had this issue. You will also learn from the manual how and how often to clean it. You should clean it when it's brand new, you should change the water daily, and you should clean it every 3 days. There are also instructions to do a deep clean if necessary. I use vinegar to clean it as per the instructions every 2-3 days. Also, I make sure to clean every little corner and clean the inside of the top spout. I have seen SO many reviews where people complain of mold (in other models) and this is almost always because they aren't cleaning their humidifier enough or cleaning it properly. I saw a one-star review and the entire base and inside were filled with dark green mold, they said they hadn't cleaned it in 3 weeks! That's crazy! Please don't do that! As long as you take care of your humidifier, use it right, and clean it right you will have no mold problem.I have had it for 2 weeks now. I live in Arizona so it's about 5% humidity here. My skin is so dry and after coming back from a Caribbean vacation (where it is very humid), I knew I needed more moisture in the air and this humidifier has done the trick. My skin is doing so much better now. I also have pretty bad allergies and my nose feels much less dry all the time, too which is nice. I highly recommend it!!!

I couldn't breathe at night so I wanted to try a humidifier to see if it would help rather than a nasal decongestant spray and to my surprise I haven't slept this good in years!I wasn't sure about the quality of water I should add so I started with filtered but one night I did tap and it made me want to sneeze, so I've just dedicated a water filter to my humidifier now.It always seems to last me the whole night on one refill, although I have ran it longer by just adding some while it was running and did not have any issues it just keeps pushing out clouds until it runs out of water then quietly shuts off 🥲 it also has a slow blinking red light near the knob when it's empty and still turned on to remind you to turn it off which is very handy!10/10 the best humidifier I've ever owned but it's also the only one I've ever owned 😏 top fill humidifiers just make sense 👏

I got this humidifier because I cannot sleep if there is any visible light in my room, and this is one of the only ones I could find with no lights. It works fine humidifying my bedroom, even here in very dry Colorado. However, as other reviewers have noted, this humidifier quickly develops a pink mold problem. You must completely disassemble the tank part of the unit to clean it, which is not easy to figure out. There is a center piece that is clipped in, if you do not unclip and clean it a "mother" of pink mold grows, and then you can never defeat the mold problem. On the other hand, it's fairly easy to figure out how to remove the filter piece. However, there's another cylindrical part whose function I don't understand, and we could only get it unclipped using vice grips. Also, be very careful re-assembling the unit. If you do not get it seated properly on the little blue seal (which you will see once you take the tank completely apart) the unit will leak badly when water is added. Also you must use filtered or distilled water unless you're okay with the filter turning brown.

So far I love it. Super minimal noise. Works well, definitely feel the difference! Nose/sinuses doesn't feel so dry with this on in my room. Perfect size, not huge not tiny. If I were Goldie Locks, I'd think this was baby bears humidifier & say: this is just Just right! I put a towel underneath, just in case- no need! No leak! Easy to use, wash, & add water. Recommends ditilled or purified water! Can run over night! No need to worry about a fire or any issue like that. Once the water runs out, there's an auto shut off! Ive had it on & off for a few days & doesn't seem up have over heated. So far- love this product! Can't say nothing about longevity because i haven't had it for long.

LOVE this humidifier. It gets the job done, and fast. The amount of mist was exactly what we needed. I bought 2 of them, one for the living room and one for the bedroom. Then they both quit at the same time, so I figured they might need cleaned. I was right. I had accidentally thrown out the manuals that came with them, but you can find a video for cleaning on the front page of this product. The little brush they provide doesn't even come close to getting it clean, so I soaked the tank and parts in a sink with bleach water, and ran some mild bleach water through the whole system. Then I wiped it down really well. We have well water, so I will add just add a small splash (like < 2 TBSP) of bleach to the full tank of water each time I fill it, which should help keep it clean. We'll see. This is the first time I've tried it.I would recommend getting the white version because you can see what needs cleaned when you take it apart. I would think with the black version it would be harder to see the scum that can build up, but you can run your fingers across it and feel it.
