I just started learning Korean on my own online and wanted to purchase a physical workbook to go along with the online course. After research and reading reviews, I decided to purchase Korean Grammar for Beginners by Fluent in Korean—and I’m really glad I did! Even though I’m only on Lesson Three, it’s already been super helpful. The explanations are clear, the layout is easy to follow, and it doesn’t feel overwhelming for a true beginner like me. I appreciate how the book breaks things down in a way that makes grammar feel approachable and even fun. Looking forward to working through the rest of it. The book includes audio lessons and two bonus ebooks are also included.

I'm just getting started, doing this alone, but hopeful. I'm excited about the book because there are 220 pages of instruction plus a free audio download to help with sound and pronunciation. I purchased this book on my journey to learn Korean..I work in the medical field and while we have translator programs I realized that simply being able to say Hello! Annyeonghaseyo I'm Korean would bring such a smile to the faces of my elderly Korean it's, not to mention I love Kdram drama and Kpop.This book has definitely helped in my journey with the History of Hangul (the Korean Alaphabet) by learning about Consonants and vowels which make up Hangul. I'm slowly learning to identify these characters and in turn learning to create words and hopefully read sentences and understand sentences etc.This is a journey so if you are looking to learn Korean (or any language over night) you are going to be disappointed and give up.Take your time, pace yourself and have fun with it. Hopefully this book will help you on your journey as it is helping me.Remember, Korea is not difficult, it is just different :).

This book was so good, it broke things down into detail for understanding and gets you way past beginner.

Very well written. Easy to understand the directions. There is a lot of ancillary information also available. The journey to learn the Korean language is presented in a positive and supportive format. I am excited to begin the journey with “Korean Grammar for Beginners”!!!
