Q: Is this good for just mixed drinks at a bar?

It’s a great blender for anything. My daughter bought it to make smoothies. It’s a great blender for the price. Very satisfied with it.

Q: Cup will not unlock from base. Tried unlocking several times. What to do?

I use it daily and have not had this problem. When you place jar on base it is only one quarter turn towards you to lock it. When you want to remove it. it is just one quarter turn away from you. Takes getting used too. then very easy. And very easy to clean.
