I wanted to provide an updated review of the Olight mini marauder torch. After returning the blue variant initially (due to it heating up quickly) i ordered the black variant again and i was super impressed by the torch that was delivered to me. I have taken it along many dog walks and this torch is just absolutely perfect for me. I think that Olight is doing all the right things and they have certainly created a quality product (I so rarely have a cause to say so)ProsThis torch is a quality item, is very well built, and feels great to hold, I bought the black variant and it looks really goodIt is not very heavy and can be easily handledIt has contoured grips, and an inbuilt vibrator to tell the user that the torch is maxed outThe rotating button is a thoughtful addition to the functionality of the torchRGB lighting is definitely a plus point, although this will only be used in real-life search and rescue, wildlife tracking, etc.Switch from the floodlight to the beam is excellent and works incredibly wellThis form factor is ideal, it is neither too big nor small and fits snuggly in the nylon holster and in hand, it is slightly impractical for EDC however it will work well for hiking/trekking, camping, dog walking, etc.The nylon sheath is strong and durable, it protects the torch lens and the torch can also be charged when it is in the sheathThe longevity of the torch i.e., the charge lasts a long time (depending on use of course)The magnetic charger is also very good and the red charging light is a great attention to detailConsThe max out put of 7000 lumens does not last very long (some 4 mins) however for edc you may not realistically need more than 2500 lumens out put. This however will need to be tested in hiking, trekking, wilderness kind of setting to assess the brightness thoroughly.

ok so every one knows a torch is a torch right! well no, this torch is so much more. Intelligence and amazing lighting. great features and for what it has built into it for its size is amazing. quickly going from spot to flood, quickly adjusting the brightness by a swivel of a wheel with a haptic feedback when your at the max or the low. The battery seems to be lasting forever. The quality of this thing is just brilliant. yes it was pricey but it's doing everything I needed it for and I hope this will be the last torch I need to ever purchase! great product and deffo recommend

It certainly does what it says and is brighter than my car main beam head lights and has a better light throw I would recommend this for any one who lives in a rural area for the price I paid I’m very happy the control knob is for a bit awkward but I’m sure I will get used to it . My last words I use a lot off torches but can’t see me ever buying anything but olight in the future I love the way it feels in my hand sturdy and professional I love the fact that with a double click it lights up an entire 31 acre field . I’m going to test this one for a year and if the battery lives up to its promise then I will upgrade to their ultimate torch . You get what you pay for and this was money well spent

Not edc or tactical.Very high powered for size.Even includes red,blue,green lights and strobe and flood and spotlight modes.Build quality excellent.Comes with the magnet power charger cable wire. Good quality aluminium and gribby siliconeJust excellent.Recommend.

The media could not be loaded. The Olight Maruader is expensive but I'm a torch nut so had to buy one during black Friday week so here's my thoughts on my now favourite torch.I wanted a simple to use and bright torch, not one that I have to flick through 4 or 5 modes to turn on and off and this has ticked the boxes a lot more than I thought it would. The circular button that both rotates and presses to turn on and rotates to select brightness is my favourite feature. I don't need the different colour lights but they are only accessed by 2 sec press so don't come into play unless required. Whilst on a quick double press of the blue button whilst the torch is on turns on turbo and 3 quick presses brings on the the strobe. The torch fits in the hand or pocket nicely and switching on and changing brightness is easy done by pressing the blue button for on and rotating the blue button for brightness which can be done even with wearing gloves as can the flood or beam separate button. It charges easily by the magnetic usb and I haven't found it to drain battery that badly as I can easily take the dog for a walk and still have battery power left.I've removed a star as it's expensive and the battery isn't a run of the mill battery so not so easy or cheap to buy as other torch rechargeables. Bought for £129 during black Friday and I wouldn't of purchased at the normal price of 199 as that's just to rich for my taste.. now let's just hope it lasts and is reliable as a lot of electronic torches nowadays don't last the 12 months guarantee period..

Excellent powerful torch, spot and thrower and RGB all in one.

Well not much to say really it's EXTREMELY bright , brightness intensity on a dimmer rolling switch , good battery life and the red blue green light is a nice touch , always buy olight torches as camping gear I have the smallest version of this with the battery pack and the head torch , only possible negative is this thing is hefty it makes me worry about the wrist strap as the cord is very thin so time will tell on that front, also comes with a neat belt holder and the velcro seems very strong, well done as always olight a lighter version with this much power and performance would be god mode
