Received My Zeroll GD616 Original Ice Cream Scoop, Size 16, Washed It & Used It. Works Very Well ish, Meaning The Scoop Does Not Create A Nice Ball Of Ice Cream But A Large Curve. External Is Highly Polished Aluminum, Scoop Inner Wall Is Brushed Aluminum. Would Have Liked A Non Smooth Handle Or An Oval Shaped Handle To Ease Squeezing The Handle To Reduce Twisting Of Scoop. The Larger The Number The Smaller The Scoop Size, The Rough Size Of Mine Is Scoop Opening Is 45mm Wide & 60mm Tall, 2.5oz Portions, 32 Portions Per Gallon If That Helps, Sizes Are 10/4oz, 12/3.5oz,16/2.5oz, 20/2.0oz, 24/1.5oz, 30/1.0 oz. Excellent solid ice cream scoop. Does a great job even on hard ice cream. Just don’t put it in the dishwasher otherwise it goes a strange colour and the inside liquid will stop working correctly!

Super Scoop
Bought this for my wife to use as she has rsi in the hands. It is an absolutely great piece of kit, this extra that you will pay is insignificant compared to the quality of both the scoop construction and performance. The size we purchased is ideal as they are not to big for the young grandchildren and the older ones get 2 and I have as many as I fancy, that is a privilege of being old! I see this as a single lifetime purchase in a domestic use situation so if you buy one when you are young will work out 50 p a year how good is that! I hope it works out at £1 a year for me!

It's an average ice cream scoop, nothing more
In hindsight I was foolishly drawn in by the concept of it warming in your hand and making scooping easier. When ice cream is hard it's just as difficult to use this as any other. Having paid a high price I was expecting something extra. I've found myself using my old scoop because it works better, which says everything really. This is for ice cream stands that have their ice cream kept at softish consistency. A domestic freezer doesn't do that, so brute force is always required. This scoop doesn't provide the leverage that others can, so it's not worth the high price tag.

This is a hugely overrated product. It does not have any special properties such as cutting through harder ice cream or making a smoother scoop as the makers claim. No different to the other 2 ice cream scoops bought the high street for a quarter of the price.

Honestly the best one.
I have tried several scoops, ballers and paddles before but couldn't get a great, easy result out of them reliably - all needed warm water really.Honestly this one is a transformation. It goes through hard ice cream with ease and then it releases the scoop just fine.Check the sizings as there is a huge range but we bought this one and I would say it was 'standard' to 'large' in size compared to others.Great scoop - you will not buy another one if you have this.
