Good strong quality and easy to fit plus great price

I was reluctant to calling a plumber when the bottom fill valve in the cistern of my toilet stopped filling properly and was leaking at various joints at the top. I managed to fit this replacement myself! The instructions are easy to follow with both writing and clear diagrams.

Who would have thought that I would be writing a review on a toilet cistern valve. I bought this to replace a 12-year-old SIAMP 99B valve that was life expired and leaking continually (the little rubber ring thingy in the top was perished and wouldn't 'pop down' and seal as the cistern filled up). Rather than remove the entire valve, which would involve a tricky DIY job to ensure that I didn't introduce a leak at the bottom of the cistern, I simply screwed off the top of the new valve and replaced the old and it's now working perfectly. This 'hack' was noted in a YouTube video: the instructions that come with the valve are schematic (showing dimensions) and intended for professional plumbers. The diaphragm washer in the 99B is prone to failure after a while, but that's a different issue.

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. We'll done plumb2u. Orderd this type as my local wholesalers did not have one, and looked at being quite expensive to get in. Good ol Amazon and these guys at Plumb2u. Works a treat, wife happy, no more using buckets to flush the toilet.....

I purchased this toilet inlet valve as it was the exact same one that was installed. Since installing the valve it gives a loud noise like it’s shaking the pipe when shutting the water off.
