Cinema 50. Go for it!
Watched multiple YouTube videos and procrastinated somewhat, pleased I made the decision to go with the Cinema 50. If you are looking for a home theater experience with exceptional sound quality this is it! I have KEF R3’s with a SVS subwoofer and Klispch ceiling speakers. The sound is outstanding for both music and home theater. Don’t hesitate to get the Cinema 50, truly impressive and the plus, the design of the Cinema 50 looks super cool! Just do it!

It was good quality and cost was reasonable.
Used it to finish our surround sound of speakers . It works great. Well worth the money

My first Marantz: No chance it's my last Marantz
This amp is awesome and frankly, I'm relieved. I was beginning to doubt the ability of anyone to produced a quality audio product anymore. My previous amp was a 5.1 110W channel system but ultimately a frustrating experience because everything sort of half worked. The 5.1 was a hot mess, and the second zone could only be used with an analogue source like the Tuner. if I wanted to listen to digital music source like Spotify or iTunes in my zone 2, I had to use a separate A/D converter. The menu system was garbage and if you lost the remote it was a PITA to turn on zone 2 because the display didn't really show you the navigation. OK, why do I care so much about zone 2?Well for someone who cares about both MOVIES and MUSIC, throwing a party with sound piping into the kitchen ( my designated zone 2) is awesome, and now I can listen to 2 separate things in each zone regardless of whether I'm using the CD transport, the tuner, vinyl or digital music from HDs on my local network. Long story short, there are no caveats here, the Marantz just works. The menus are easy to navigate and intuitive. The physical buttons on the front mean I don't need to find the remote or turn on the TV to navigate the menus. It may be minimal but it gives you the basics which is all we really care about when we want to listen to something. The Marantz performs that central function more than admirably - it sounds great. It can get pretty hot but it looks and sounds cool. I totally recommend this.

Fantastic sound and features
This Marantz Cinema 50 replaced my Sony STR-DN1080. This was an expensive upgrade (for me), but it has been worth the money. This drives my 7.1 home theater just fine and I have had no issues with anything. Audyssey worked reasonably well, but I wish that included Dirac Live for more precise tweaking.

Fantastic sound
This was a BIG upgrade from an onkyo tx-nr656, no surprise given the quality and price difference, but it’s always good to get what you pay for. My 10 year old speakers (definitive tech pro monitor 800/1000s) sound much fuller than before. Going to slowly upgrade to better speakers, but for now I’m thrilled with the excellent sound for tv and movies. Music sounds great as well, a lot warmer than my old system. Love the sleek look too. Highly recommended.

Surround details are great
Im not fan of the sounds. Its too tin, i need to turn my Volume all the way up to match the sound that i like, tried many settings but could get the sound that i like, i powered it with monolith 200x5 and emotiva for atmos, may be when Dirac is available ill get it again. Until then. i returned it back.Pros: its very detail with the background when watching a movie.Cons: not dynamic as a whole.

Amazing!
Don't let the watts fool you. This receiver is awesome. Just be sure to feed it DD or DTS signals and not PCM.
