Bissell Refresh Manual Sweeper - Pirouette, 2199,Blue

Oh my goodness! I really like this sweeper! I remember my mother having one when I was a kid in the early 70s. I like how convenient it is, no need to always get the broom and dustpan. I use them on the rugs that my vacuum would destroy and it works well on ceramic tile and on my hardwood floors! Easy to use and empty. I have only one little issue; I wish they had an extra piece to make the handle longer. I’m really pleased with this sweeper.

Finally something that will work on my washable rugs! Our vacuum is too strong and the broom felt ineffective. This thing works like a charm without having to wrestle my vacuum everytime I need to clear crumbs from the dog and my 4yr old. Only warning is that the plastic handle does not fix onto the top bar. We just superglued it on.

Grandma was right. Everyone needs this is their house. I run my robotic vacuum and finish my area rugs with this sweeper. Picks up dog and cat hair beautifully. Turquoise color fits right in with my mid century modern decor.4 stars instead of 5 because the handle is shorter than my last sweeper, quick fix by using part of the handle from the old sweeper.

This is a manual product. I have used it four times and the central brush fell out on its own. I have contacted the help center at Bissell and I will update this review if they get back to me. Of course, I am 25 days past the return window at Amazon. Fingers crossed. I wouldn't buy this again now that I see how it is made. Too much plastic.This is the update: I contacted Bissell. Had a live chat. The operator gave me instructions that made no sense despite the fact that she knew what model I was working with. She was describing a different machine. She finally suggested I go to YouTube and look up a particular link. The link led me to how to replace a Fuller Brush brush roll!! After watching it, I realized what a much better mechanism they use for a carpet sweeper. I am going to try to return this to Amazon and buy a Fuller brush product. Bissell has a really poor design here. New update on 11-28: Amazon customer service finally agreed to let me return the sweeper, but it's 2 weeks past the 30 day return date, so they're charging me a "RESTOCKING FEE" of $4.80. I'm finished with ordering anything I don't already own and can trust. Watch out for new fees, folks. Amazon just isn't making enough money. That $213 billion dollars they made in 2023 thru September.

Use this at work for spot tough ups on the carpet. Cant find these in big box stores anymore!

This item, the manual sweeper, works very well. It sweeps up even the tiniest particles with no chords trailing behind. I had considered one in the past, had seen one online, ordered it to give it a try, and I'm really impressed. It works great on bare floors and our low non-shag room size rug. You will have to keep the rotating brush underneath clean though. I'd recommend this sweeper to anyone who is thinking of trying it. And it would likely be a good gift to give to someone.
