My first blow torch / used to singe the tiny hairs of chicken wings. Good product. Value for money and easy to use and handle.

Much better than I was expecting. It is definitely hotter than 1,000c too. Had no problem desoldering a 15mm pipe and soldering a new piece in. All being well I get some good use out of it before it fails. I ran it for a while first to make sure it can safely stay on for a long enough period to solder 15mm pipes, and it seemed reliable and good to go. Great buy.

Delivery was quick and adequately packaged and the blow torch is exactly as described. This blowtorch is designed to exactly meet my needs of occasional use in the kitchen for certain cooking items and spend most of it's life in a cupboard. It auto ignites easily, is light, easy to hold and has a small amount of flame adjustment which is all I need.I say this because if you are a serious kitchen chef and use a blow torch on a regular basis there are some areas that you will not be happy with and you should spend a little more for a better unit.The lightness is good when held but means it is easily knocked over when sat on the countertop.The mechanism to prevent accidental pressing of the trigger is a separate plastic cover that you slide over the trigger and can be easily mislaid, which is why they give you a spare.The fuel refill valve at the base is easy to locate and use but vents excess fuel before the max level mark is reached in the fuel window. This is probably a safety feature to prevent over fill but occurs before the mark and so can be a little messy but does quickly evaporate and become dry.Be aware that for safety reasons the blow torch is shipped dry with no fuel, so if this is your first purchase you will also need to order fuel separately. Butane is the fuel the unit is designed to use and several adaptors are supplied with the unit for use with different fuel canister nozzles.As it is a blow torch it can also be used for light hobby applications like soldering, heating up items, lighting fires or barbeques but nothing heavier.I gave 4 star as it does meet all my needs at a reasonable price but the few negatives have lost it the fifth star.

Excellent for it's chef cooking purpose. It was wasteful to fill with gas as others have said but it may be due to non standard filling nozzles as I noted the gas can and the filling side on the product were slightly different sizes. I lost the cap for the gas refill can ( chewing puppy) so did not have different sized nozzles, however once filled worked perfectly....flame "grilled" burgers (cooked on hob and then seared) with toasted buns done with the torch, so was a hit. I like it.

Excellent. Trying to get a wheel off a pony cart. Tried everything but this little gadget worked wonders. Only heated it up for a couple of minutes an hey presto the spacer was unseized. Highly recommend

Initially I thought it looked quite sturdy and well made, button seems to work fine as well. However the one I received does have some sort of leakage problem, I did know it came without the gas so I bought the suggested one to arrive in the same day. I have tried refilling it 3 times already, it works for moments and after it stops. I felt a bit of a gas smell in the air the last time which I tried to fill for longer to see if that was the problem, and I was a bit scared to keep going. I will unfortunately return the item as I believe it’s defective and not suitable for intended use.

Flame strength is great, can start any fire a man or women would need. Easy to fill with the canisters you can buy. Easy use.

Nice piece of kit. Great to use and sits comfortably in the hand. Well made and great value.
