I love these "old-school" style ice packs. They work great, and you don't have to wait for them to get cold, just add fresh ice and you're back to treating your inflammation. Having 3 sizes is very convenient.

I have migraines. Maybe that is because I have three children. I find that ice packs come in handy with a variety of things that happen around our house, including my migraines. We like the three different sizes. I find the middle size works best for my migraines. My son and youngest daughter have used the larger size multiple times for sprained ankles and bruises from sports. My oldest daughter says the small one is good for her complexion, but I don't even know what to say to that. I had tried the ice packs that go in the freezer, but then I got tired of them taking up space in the freezer, not being frozen when I needed one, or not staying cold for very long. Then I started to look into these. Pretty simple, just stick ice cubes in them. (Please note: We have not used them for hot or warm packs. Just haven't had the need, so this is only about them as cold packs.) I started looking into these and found that there are cheap ice packs that leak, sweat, or start to smell after awhile. We have been very happy with the quality of these. We have not had any of these issues other than sweating when it was really humid and my son used it when he was outside. They can be used directly on the skin, but I recommend putting a towel on the area then the ice pack. The biggest issue is that they disappear into the children's rooms on a regular basis. So we now have two sets of these.

I can't believe I never bought one of these sooner. I woke up today with a horrible headache and one of my eyes feeling like it was gonna explode. I looked for advice online, came across a suggestion to try a hot water bag, found this thing on Amazon for dirt cheap and with same day delivery. Placed the order and it was at my door in under 2 hours. Filled it up with warm water, laid down and placed it over my forehead and eye, and not only did my headache disappear instantly, I fell into a wonderful state of bliss. I havent had this thing long enough to see if it holds up over time, but if it only lasts a few uses before the seals give out (which I dont expect to be the case as it seems pretty well constructed), the super low price tag makes it almost a disposeable product and in 15 minutes it's already proven its worth. Amazing.

9 inches is small for these bags. I didn't realize how small 9 inches was. I would have ordered the largest size if I knew. When filled with ice, this 9 incher will cover the top of your head, corner of your shoulder, just the kneecap and most of one side of your foot. The opening to put ice in is just enough for cubed or crescent ice from the fridge but my craft ice balls are just too big. I have to rinse those down just a bit to get them to fit but bigger ice lasts longer in this bag. There is barely any condensation on the outside so just set it down on a towel when you're not using it and it should be fine. The material is soft and flexible so its easy on the skin and conforms to whatever you need it to. The cold transfers quickly to the outside surface so you can get relief fast. Some reviews say it leaks but so far mine has been great. Would definitely buy again if it does.

This was a life changing purchase! This bag. Is perfect for icing everything except perhaps your back if you need to lie on it. If you’re lying on your stomach, it would still be perfect. I believe I got the large one, which holds a good amount of ice and water and drapes nicely over my knee, ankle, thigh.. I also place it upside down under my knee with a pillow under it. The mouth secures properly and is big enough for icemaker ice cubes. Ice cubes from trays might have to be pushed in individually.
