Great for 10' to 25' cables! Clean and Professional.
Wrap your cables right: over-under. Don't know how? Learn. These are great for 10' to 25' cables. They work for larger cables too but you'll have to wrap in larger circles to keep the bundle diameter manageable. I use braided cables which are a little thicker than most rubber jacketed cables. These attach snugly, and never come off accidentally. If you wrap your cables in a circle, I highly recommend these. They're clean, professional, and much faster than tie-line.I've been doing this for over 30 years and wrapped thousands of cables. These are quick to fasten and release. If you wrap a particularly thick bundle of cable, it will be harder to unfasten this because the elastic is stretched tighter. If you find that happening, just wrap your cable in a larger diameter circle. I initially bought one set to test. Now I've bought more to handle all of my mic cables.

Great Ties
One of these came with a D’Addario cable I bought and I thought it was awesome, so I bought a whole pack. They’re so simple and minimalistic. They clip on a cable and stay where they’re clipped so it’s always there in the right spot when you wrap the cable up again. Then it’s just a simple one wrap and hook and that’s it. I’m throwing out all my velcro cable ties.I put one on a cable that I thought was too thick and I thought for sure the plastic clip was going to break because I was putting so much force on it to try and get it on, but it didn’t. I kept forcing it until it went and it hurt my fingers, but the clip is fine, so very durable. This was an extra thick speaker cable and most audio cables should be no problem.

These are Terrific and a must have for every electric guitar owner.
It works and serve's the purpose. To be more specific I just ordered 20 more. Once my 1st order arrived, I knew instantly 10 would not be enough. I do wish they offered another model that was larger. It would be nice to choose from more than 1 size. Buy them is my final suggestion. Buy 10, Buy 20, Buy 50, Just buy em, you can thank me later.

Serviceable, Cheap, And A Big Step Up From No Cable Ties At All
I'm editing my review to increase the rating to four stars. Even though these are not the most versatile or secure cable ties, they are pretty cost effective, and generally speaking, it is inconvenient but not a tragedy if a cable tie comes undone. I have been able to use them with fair success, but they are not always the easiest to secure or undo.FOR DYI-ers only, read on:DYI inclined souls can make more secure, more flexible, and easier to use cable ties for not much money or time. Buy 5 or 10 feet of 1/8" shock cord (elastic cord) and some cord locks. Cut the cord to the lengths you want, whip the ends, and slide on a cord lock. You now have a loop of shock cord with a cord lock at one end and a loop of elastic cord at the other end. This cord lock/shock cord combination makes a perfect cable tie. The size of the cable tie loop can be adjusted by moving the cord lock closer or farther from the loop end.Secure the cables as follows: Make the cable tie loop as big as you can. Bundle up your cable(s). With the cables already coiled, wrap the cable tie loop around the coil and slide the cord lock under the cable tie loop. With the cord lock the under the cable tie loop, tighten the loop by sliding the cord lock until the elastic shock cord stretches. The tension of the stretched elastic will hold your cables securely. To unbundle the cables, loosen the cable lock and slide it out from under the cable tie loop end.You now have adjustable cable ties that can be relied upon to hold larger or smaller cable bundles.

My bestest most awesome cable ties. Keep in mind they attach to specific size length cables
Since the 80s, I made the mistake of buying a bunch of cheap mic cables. About 15 years ago, I spent a lot of money on a 25' Planet Waves mic cable, and it has this cable tie on it. I'm a singer/guitar player, as well as a basement studio engineer, and have several sized PA systems that I can run on stage, or from the back of the room. I hve dozens of cables of every flavor,, too many to count. I've been using Velcro cable ties, and they fall off, get stuck to fabrics, are too long, or too short, and are full of lint. I didn't know these were sold separately, and now have them on most of my cables. I highly recommend them, just remember they will not affix to large diameter cables, and very long cables.

They solve a necessary issue very well
They are simple, and there isn't much to them, but they do their job very well and are built with the quality and attention to detail we all expect from D'addario products, these are no exception.

Okay
These work fine for thin cables, but for some of my more expensive, thicker guitar cables and for things like mic cables or long cables, they are a pain to use. Other ties I have work much better. Like the idea, just need a second version for bigger cables. D'addario is a great company and most things I have from them are perfect for the job. If you only use standard guitar cables, these may be fine for you, but even then, they aren't the easiest to use.
