This butane torch is pretty solid for what it's intended for. It heats up fast and gets HOT, which is great for when I need to STERILIZE some of my equipment (I use this thing for more than just food). The one-handed operation is nice too, makes things much easier to handle. the flame lock button is a lifesaver - you don't want to be fumbling around with that while your hands are covered in whatever you're sterilizing. I got it on sale for like $15 and haven't had any issues with it so far. It's been working great!It came with one of those red adapters, which was a nice touch - not sure if it really makes much difference but hey, at least you have options. The flame gauge is pretty useful too, even though I forget to check it half the time. It seems like the fuel lasts forever, or maybe I just don't use it enough. Either way, it's been a good purchase and would recommend it for anyone looking for something to get their sterilization needs covered (or if you want to just play with fire).

It took me a bit to figure out how to fill it but it sure does work great. I use it to start fires. The "safety" is a wonderful addition so it doesn't accidently ignite

This little torch does a real good job. I use it mostly for soldering automotive wiring. You can leave it on, and bring the wires together for soldering, Also for heat shrink tube.

I've only used it 3-4 times so far, but it is working well. Be careful when filling with butane as it's not hard to have some of it leak out. I wouldn't try to fill it full, just put in a little and it shouldn't spill.
