Essential kit for reception age maths
The media could not be loaded. These have been so useful for helping to teach my reception aged child to understand his maths homework and to visualise counting up/down, tens and ones. We mix the colours for odds and evens. And the fact there are little exercises and dinosaur shapes guides to follow just makes it more fun for them. An essential item for 4-5 year olds. ( And our 2 year old likes picking them up and playing too with no worries they will be a choke hazard.)

Would recommend
These are really great quality and come with some good cards with math questions and how to build a Dinosaur etc. Would really recommend these!

Useful maths tool
My children all enjoyed using it but unless you are directly supervising them during use, the blocks tend to be used for other purposes eg making guns and tearing around the house.Still, used with the cards they do provide educational value and it is a high quality toy. All our children aged 6-11 were able to navigate the cards and blocks without assistance, just needed adult assistance to stay on task! You get cousins aged 3 enjoyed building towers and shapes. Quite expensive overall as you could no doubt purchase the blocks cheaply elsewhere but if used regularly for learning they are worthwhile.

Birthday gift.
I purchased this for my friends son as it was his birthday and I knew he likes dinosaurs and maths. He loved it plays with it each day and asked his mum to buy him other sets. It improves maths whilst also playing.

Luckily, no scents with the toy
This game might not be perfect, but it is entertaining enough and does help children understand all the basic concepts in maths you can find discussed in Montessori method. I mean, the very basic ones. The instructions might not be the most enticing, the way they are laid out is slightly unclear/generic. But, on the other hand, it is easier to treat this toy as an open-end toy. The cubes are not the most alluring but they work and it is possible to build things with them. You can also use the cubes for counting, sorting and so on, but they are too tricky to handle for the very young learners as the cubes are quite difficult to stick together and not all of them stay in place all that easily, so the manufacturing process could be something to look at and improve. The colours are quite bright and 'earthy' and work well together.

Educational toy
This is for a gift so hasn't been used yet. Looks good, they use these cubes in schools for counting, building following instructions, learning about area etc. so should get a lot of use. You can use your imagination and make your own models too.
