Q: Are they scratch free for pots and pans?

Yes. The brushes are scratch free. I have used these brushes for several years and I do not detect scratches. I like them a lot - they can go in the dishwasher for cleaning - use on skillets - glassware - flatware - and for washing out the sink after dishes are finished.

Q: Are bristles melt proof?

These are terrible and both broke in half. Don’t buy
