Much better than expected ..
I,ve tried numerous AFOs, probably every version on the market and ended up using a Turbomed which is great but bulky and probably too rigid for my purpose. I saw this and thought I’d give it a go to see if it was a better option when wearing a sandal which the a turbo med is not great for.I,ve worn it for a couple of days around the house, normally I don’t wear any at home and found it very comfortable in slippers, in the past year Ive had two falls resulting in fractures due my lumbering gait.I have a taken a couple of short walks outdoors and been pleasantly surprised that it’s as comfortable as the Turbo med but not as supportive or rigid which for me is probably better as walking felt quite safe and I could feel muscles working that I haven’t used for a while. I’m size 9 uk so got XL and it fits my shoes ok..I,ve worked out that with the little balloon pump it’s best to attach it before putting on the brace as it’s near impossible once it’s on your foot.

Does not work
This is so uncomfortable to wear and very cheaply made, and really does not help dropfoot

My everyday foot drop brace...but it has limitations.
I use this every day. Is it perfect? Far from it. I initially bought a Large (because that was the suggestion from the sizing guides) but then bought a Medium which fits much better (I'm a UK size 7 EU 41). The best thing about this brace is that I can wear it without shoes - most days I clip it on and potter around the house almost like before; I can even wear it with a pair of existing sandals and trainers. For longer walks the swedish-style AFO is better (the type that has a plastic foot plate that goes under a shoe insole with a strut that goes behind your calf and is then anchored to your calf with velcro). The problem with that brace is that it only fits one pair of my shoes - this brace fits into pretty much all my shoes and doesn't have the problems I also experience with the Boxia-style brace I have.Negatives:1) the padding is utterly useless. I took it out and replaced it with self-adhesive medical padding I found online - a major improvement; the padding is a gimmick and a better solution should be implemented in my opinion.2) I've had to file/cut away sections of the brace around the ankle as I found it rubbed on the bony bit on the inside of the ankle (the medial malleolus) - had to do this on both braces I bought; poor design.3) The bottom of the brace is flat - who has a flat arch (I can stick my finger into the space between the bottom of my foot and the bottom of the brace - this adds height to your foot and can make some shoes tight)? This needs to be redesigned to be at an angle - it would certainly help in fitting inside shoes (I've notived my trainers now have a permenant indentation in the insole due to the brace cutting into them).4) The clip attachment would be better as a velcro strip or some sort of metal tightening fixture. The clips on my braces now squeak like I'm stepping on a tortured mouse every step.So many negatives, so why 4 stars? Well, despite the faults the fact is that this is my go-to brace. Need to pop to the shops? I use this brace. Need to walk 1/2 mile to pick the boy up from school? Use this brace. Bimbling around the house with bare feet or socks on and don't want to walk like a gimp? Use this brace. I think it's a little over-priced for what it is and the basic faults it has but, honestly, if you've got foot drop and need an everyday brace where you're not hiking up Scafell Pike then this will probably do for you. It's available on eBay but tends to be a few pounds more so you might as well by it from Amazon.

Once on, very comfortable and effective for my foot drop, very difficult, however, to get on.
Comfortable once on and pumped up.I have quite broad feet and found it extremely difficult to get on, even after buying new shoes a size bigger, also the pump to inflate inside is very difficult to manoeuvre and activate.Once on a very worthwhile piece of kit although it can be uncomfortable after several hours continuous use.

It is comfortable to wear and works
For me this product was a good find. Having lived with foot drop for 9 years due to a herniated disc and having found NHS items of little help/use, this foot brace actually works/helps and is comfortable to wear for hours at a time. Very pleased with item and would recommend :)

Didn't fit
Upon trying to fit this brace I firstly found the base plate was too wide to sit in my wife fitting shoes. Secondly, the hard plastic ankle brace was far too tight and without suitable adjustment available.Whilst the concept of the support is ok, for me it was far from a good fit and most uncomfortable. I returned the item.

very comfortable
I was using an NHS prescription foot brace but found I kept falling over, but since purchasing this foot brace my incidents have pretty much reduced to zero, the brace is very comfortable once you get the air cushion inflated and once you have it set up it takes seconds to put on or remove! I would highly recommend this item so far, if that changes I will update my review.

Poor quality
When inflating the cushion the glue breaks down and the cushion comes away from hard plastic. I couldn't send ir back gecause I was outside the 30 day but I was in hospital and ran out of time
