Does the job
I just got mine today and the tasted fine. Didn’t taste like grape to me, but it was fruity. I didn’t notice the aftertaste until a few minutes later. Others I see compared it to blood, which, I guess maybe…. But it reminded me of when I was little and would chew those flintstone vitamins. To me that’s what it tastes like and I don’t have a problem with it at all. I’m only 5 weeks pregnant but I know my last 2 pregnancies I was low iron so figured I’d start ahead. If my labwork comes back that ny iron levels are good, then I know these made a big difference. I will try to remember to update this later with my results.

Hard to find product makes taking iron supp more bearable
UPDATE: 2.5 weeks out from delivery here and my blood test shows that while I am slightly anemic (I’ve had an aversion to red meat this pregnancy), I don’t have to take any prescription iron supplements to be ready for my C-section. So I’m going to increase it to five stars and count it as a success. I have been taking these two and then following them up with the regular prenatal gummie vitamins to disguise the taste. It’s really hard to find gummy iron. But last pregnancy I had to take RX iron pills that hurt my stomach every single day. This time I’m being proactive and taking these starting in the first trimester. The aftertaste is definitely not great, I agree with the reviewer who noted that these taste like blood. BUT, iron is in blood so I don’t think that’s something the manufacturer can help. I take these immediately then take the regular prenatal gummies and that helps a lot.I’ll update when I do my blood test and let you know if these, when paired with a regular prenatal and typical diet, do the trick so far as iron levels.

OMG THE TASTE !!
Holy God! These were so bad! The first few chews were like “oh ok these aren’t terrible” but then I tasted blood and I gagged so hard that my head started hurting. I literally started throwing up. Then I thought maybe I’m being dramatic because I’m pregnant so let me take the other one and see if it’s terrible: 12 hours later and it was worst. I literally couldn’t even swallow it before the blood taste hit me and I started throwing up. These are terrible lmao . My God. I think I’m traumatized.

Don’t chew them too long
Good initial flavor but don’t chew them too long or a strong metallic flavor comes through

That metallic taste builds
I had to start taking prenatal iron in my third trimester and initially this product was fine, I could tolerate the taste and was gentle on my stomach. After a few weeks, I started gagging on them, the metallic taste started to build. I think it’s going to be more personal whether or not this works for you. I had to switch to a tablet.Update: I am editing this review to add that pink stork reached out to me after seeing my review, and offered me a full refund. Great customer service from this company! I have tried other products from this company and have enjoyed them.

Best of many we tried.
These are the only prenatal vitamins with iron that we tried that were not absolutely disgusting. They managed to do a much better job hiding the iron taste.

Best iron gummies! Actually taste good
Pink stork makes the best iron pills! I take the gummies and the pills and they are both the best iron I’ve found. They taste good, have increased my iron (via blood work results), and they don’t cause constipation. I love these and would highly recommend!

I don’t usually write reviews
Reviews on Amazon are a bit much and frankly to time consuming to do for no pay off and a busy lifestyle lol but i had to for these. Fellow anemic preganos: this will do the trick if you have to take iron supplements. This is good for those who cant take super strong nauseating tablets of iron, like myself. I used to take em, makes me wanna puke every time. Even if i eat before hand i just get sick as hell. These how ever may make you vomit if you have taste sensitivity while pregnant or really bad morning sickness. So for those this would not work. Point is they suck, but theyre not the worst option. If youre not so morning sickness prone, these will be ok WITH A STRONG DRINK OR BITE OF FOOD. They do taste like blood. If you ever bit your tongue or put a paper cut in your mouth to ease the pain. This is that taste, magnified. Not kidding tasted like straight potent metallic blood. You gotta tell yourself when you take it “its not blood its not blood” for those women who drink coffee while pregnant, the acid of the drink will cut the taste a bit. If you dont drink coffee because you cut caffeine, my advice to you… chew minimally and swallow like a pill once you’ve flattened the gummy. Still, swallow with a crap ton of water. I hope this helps someone out there because i just lost 5 mins of my time writting this lol
