Good quality and functional tablet stand
For the price, I was half-expecting something quite flimsy, and that might not hold the weight of a full-sized iPad. Sure, it's not machined art, but it's well constructed, sturdy and functional. Holds the tablet securely at any angle and does not sag or wobble.

A solid hold
It's great once in place, but getting the arm in position can be a struggle, and it just wouldn't sit exactly where I want it to so I've had to compromise by a few inches. The attachment of the arm to the base is also quite wobbly even when the screw is tightened, so it rocks out of place when trying to get it settled.For the pros though, the grip at the other end is excellent, it holds well without any worries about anything slipping, and has slots in the grip so you can cable charge without removing your phone/tablet. Nothing seems to have loosened over time either.To sum up, I do use it daily and find it reliable- but changing position is a hassle if you're looking for a specific placement.

weak design
it's been 3 months and the rubber pad has become unstuck. which means I can't use it properly anymore. the thread on the tightening leaver has threaded. cheap and weak design.

Awkward
It works, but it’s awkward. I think it needs a very specific set up to fit in. I’ve tried using it as part of a desk and the angles just don’t fit particularly well, and then also using it on a bed frame headboard and same problem.If it fits the specific set up and use case you want it for you should be fine, but if it doesn’t then I think you’re in for some trouble with it.

Solid, strong and ideal
Wife watches TV on her iPad when I’m watching rugby or sci-fi on the telly but it was hurting her back resting it on her knees. This device clips onto the side of the bed (it has a side that runs down the length of the bed). The clamp is very solid (I know I dropped it on my foot wearing only a sock) and clamps on hard, the bits that matter are made of metal. The arm is strong and has good strong springs. Once it’s set in position it stays there. The locking nuts on the pivot points work well. The device clamp fits well and keeps a grip. It has a ball joint to the arm and so can pivot in any direction. It’s a hit!
