Superb
This is very much like my Rectifier, but that's with my guitar, speaker cab strings etc,you might not get the sounds I can, I use it to push the amp when on the clean channel and really can't fault it

It stopped working
It was good when it arrived but a week later during a gig it broke.

Not the Sound For me
had high hopes for this pedal but unfortunately had to send it back....The Low end is so overpowering I couldn't get anything like a useable tone, I could only get a semi usable tone with the bass on the pedal and my amp rolled completely off, but still fell well short. When I think of Mesa Rectifier sound I think crisp high end, with a nice low-Mid punch, this pedal really isn't it, maybe this pedal would sound nice for blues? but I definitely couldn't get a usable Heavy Metal sound out of this....and I tried for a good few hours

Great value
Banging pedal. Wanted a distortion for chugs and it delivers.

Unuseable due to ridiculous amount of bass frequencies
I had high hopes for this pedal after seeing the reviews online and to be fair, the overall sound of the distortion was quite pleasing. The problem is that even with the bass knob turned off, the amount of bass frequencies eminating from the little black box is completely over the top.Maybe I just got a bad one? I did notice one other reviewer who had the same issue.Shame though because it's built well and the tone was nice and dark, just like a true Rectifier.

Authentic Rectifier Tone
I actually own two of these, and having played through a Mesa Boogie Rectifier, I can say that this pedal is absolutely authentic in recreating that hi-gain tone.A previous reviewer called it cheap and "plasticky", it isn't. The pedal is comprised of a metal chassis and is robust with a great looks. The chrome knurled controls add to the authentic styling. The bass frequencies may lack focus compared to other pedals, but guess what? So do real Rectos. It is that quality that gives them a mean 'chug' on rhythm and power riffing. At a very affordable price, too. It's a no brainer. These are not budget pedals they are superb (I own a Nux Plexi Crunch pedal, too). A Game Changer.

Horrible distortion.
No definition. Extremely muddy. Does not look like the Rectifier.
