These were exactly what I needed! I am very happy with the pencils .. they write darker than the one I'd been using and now I can see what I've wriiten with my failing eyesight.

I have always liked the Ticonderoga brand of #2 pencils because the lead image seems to be a bit darker than other brands but even they are a bit hard to see when doing the newspaper crossword puzzle (on newsprint). I spotted these pencils on Amazon simply by accident and a package was not expensive so I decided to give them a try. I did a newspaper crossword as soon as they arrived and they DO show up significantly darker on newsprint. The only negative is that they seem to be a soft lead that has to be sharpened more often but I am still giving them five stars. Recommended.

The bold lead allows those with arthritic disfigured hands see to better what they are writing on yellow pads or any paper color that needs more pressure to be read.T

Most pencil leads today are so pale that it is hard to read, especially for those with sight problems. I love the darker lead in this product!

So at first I was like, how much difference can the type of pencil make, well I learned something. I like these pencils, they are smooth to write with, darker print, comes with a pencil sharpener and it does make a difference. I have one in every room and one on my fridge in a magnet holder next to the grocery list. Glad I decided to try it.

I’m so tired of weak faint pencil lines! I do lots of puzzles and these are perfect. They sharpen super well with the included sharpening tool. It makes the points extra sharp. The print is extra dark but is very easily erased. Superb and just what I was dreaming of! ✏️
