Exactly as I was hoping!
The price is great, and the quality just is good. These little suckers have made it so I no longer need to keep wrapping my fingers with Band-Aids, if you crochet your knit. If you know, you know.

Ergonomic is so worth it!!
I started crocheting over 10 years ago with the simple metal hooks and never bothered to switch to the ergonomic handles. Folks, if you’re getting into crochet for the first time, don’t do what I did. Go right for the ergonomic hooks and your fingers, hands and wrists will thank you for it!!

Comfortable but some slightly bent
They are comfortable and I like the length of the needles. A bit smaller than my traditional needles so I can swap back and forth when my arthritis acts up.Problem is that some of the hooks are slightly bent near the hook end which sometimes causes the hook to catch thread as it pulls out from the stitch

Better have your magnifier at the ready
These are great crochet hooks. If you are accustomed to using the ones that are the same diameter all along the hook, it might take a bit of familiarity but they work well and you will be less likely to hook into a thread rather than the entire strand. They were brightly colored and cone with 2 tapestry needles and colored crochet markers.Since 1/3 of young people are now myopic (nearsighted), or roughly 36% and many middle-aged and elderly do needle work who may have presbyopia, cataracts, and/or macular degeneration, I cannot understand why all the products from labels to hooks think hiding the size or specs of a product is the objective! Apparently the people who make these do not ask someone in the company who wears eyeglasses or contacts to try to read the size with their glasses! The size is etched in the same color as the hooks, not contrasting! I had to use a magnifier and make labels for each one and tape them on. Come on companies—get with it! People can’t see anymore bad red on red or black on black is extremely frustrating!!
