It worked really well straight out of the box.
This is a great quality item. I was going to purchase a much more expensive attena, however, I decided to take a chance on this one. I hooked it up and it emeditatly picked up FM HD channels. My old attena had struggled to reach these stations. In fact it quickly picked up channels before I even got a chance to hang it up. I ended up just stuffing it behind my receiver. It also picked up FM channels that I could not receive before. I would recommend it

Antenna review for Vintage receiver
Works well with my Marantz 2238b. Fitting goes directly into the FM antenna connection, on back of receiver. The antenna stuck on my sliding glass door (window) with ease. Excellent reception, hasn't fallen off the window yet, so I guess it's okay.

Difficult item to find, but worthwhile
This is an extremely difficult item to find because no one uses their amplifiers for stereo reception of radio anymore. I have been using my pc and links to radio stations via bluetooth, but it's a drag since I have a complete stereo system lacking this one antennae and none of the usual stores like pc rich or best buy seemed to carry it. So I was very happy to find it on Amazon and it works really well, but not quite 100% for the really far away stations. Plus, I am in the basement of a building and there is interference from a host of things. However, it works well for the local stations and that is a pleasure.

The antenna works, but it's not very powerful.
The antenna will get you the radio stations that have a strong signal in your area, but if you want to get more stations and clearer sound I would definitely recommend a better antenna.

So much better than a long wire!!!
The FM receiver is in my metal-clad garage, so reception is poor. For example, my cell phone doesn't work in there. I was using a long wire designed for FM but I was unhappy with the reception...lots of static and few stations. This dipole came with adaptors that insured it would fit into the receptacle at the rear of my Kenwood receiver. It has a 10-foot cord leading to the dipole, so I was able to mount it much higher in my garage. It might be this higher position that made the difference, but my reception is much, much better. Not as great as in my house (no metal clad there) but much better than what it was. I'm very happy with the construction and performance.

Like getting a new radio.
Holy cow! This antenna is amazing. One minute to install, and it was like getting a new radio. The number of stations I get clear and strong has doubled or tripled.

It works
Five feet of regular dipole antenna tacked high on a wall and plugged in to my Pioneer receiver would bring in my favorite FM station (the transmitter is only about 5000 or 6000 W and around 22 miles away), but the signal was neither "tuned" or in full stereo. It's very inexpensive, so I decided to give this a try. Taped to a window just a couple feet from the dipole's location, it brings in a signal both "tuned" and in full stereo. Can't ask for more than that.

It Works Pretty Good!
Although on the smaller side than I'm used to buying as far as 📡's. It is pretty Ok and very functional. I bought this one fast because my 'coints' ($'s) were short at that moment and needed one fast to watch Football. Don't mess with our Football now! It was at a pretty cheap price and It came next day or 2 day I believe. We use it on a 65 inch TV. But be cautious of one thing. It doesn't stretch all that far but well enough for our areas. The larger ones we usually buy have cords that stretch 10 feet or more incase you have to Readjust it on the wall to have a more clear reception and not conk out the stations to where you have to go back and scan for that specific channel again. But so far we haven't had to do that and we've had this Antenna for 3 or 4 months.
