Q: How much assembly is required?

This required assembly - all of it. I opened the box, hoping it was assembled like the previous answers stated, and it literally was all in parts, tiny parts!

Q: How well does this work on hard wood floors? I'm worried about my little guy slipping..

I have smooth concrete floors, my little guy didn't slip unless he wanted to turn. Pity he's too big to ride it. You want a little slip while in riding position because it doesn't turn. The wheels don't really turn fast so you shouldn't have a problem with slipping.

When you assemble it, it is a riding toy. Press button under seat and it's a walker. Our twins each have one and both love it

Q: What type of screwdriver is needed for these screws? It has a weird head.

They sell the triangle shaped screwdriver. Regular Phillips will destroy the screw
