Saved my tractor tire
My Cub Cadet XT1 garden tractor had a leak around one of the front tires. The tire is in rough shape with some visible cracks. It's 4 years old with 250 hours on the tractor. The leak was slow for about a year but eventually the tire would get soft after just a few hours. Rather than replace the tire or wheel assembly, this seemed like a much cheaper option. I followed the instructions and deflated the tire. The tool that comes with the bottle made it very easy to pull the valve. I then squeezed in a generous amount of slime, put the valve back in, and finally refilled the tire with air. That whole process probably took 20 minutes at most. It leaked for the first hour or so, but since then, it's held air and hasn't gone flat at all! Pretty amazing!

Works great 👍
This stuff works, would highly recommend it.The tire 🛞 (front tire) had dry cracks just above the rim and was leaking air, put this in as instructed and no more leaks !! Saved $90.00 for a new tire and wheel !

Managing expectations
It has worked for me many, many, times over the years and got me out of many pickles over time. The product was packaged properly with an additional sealed bag around the jug. It arrived with only a small leak near the cap. Wiped it off and put it on the shelf. If your tire is severely dry rotted, has large gashes, holes or has a cracked or severely bent rim this stuff probably will NOT get you back on the road.If you have some minor defect in a passenger or light truck tire, this is a "get me home" or "get me to the closest service station", emergency measure. For known and existing issues, the proper fix is replacing your tire, not being parsimonious, uninformed and looking for some miracle cure over the long term.Keeping a quart of this in your vehicle, along with a 12v mini compressor/inflator and a small tire plug kit; for around 50 bucks, you can get YOURSELF out of 99 percent of tire related issues encountered on the road. Of course keeping a viable spare is part of that plan.If you have any lawn, garden, power or sporting equipment at home such as tractors, hand trucks, bicycles, go carts, atv's, dirt bikes, wheelbarrows, trailers etc., it would be smart to keep some of this handy to get around slow leaks, minor punctures, or other small jams until you can make the proper repair. It does create somewhat of a mess inside the tire but that is to be expected and tire shops hate dealing with this stuff. Not hard to understand that they would charge a fee to deal with it. If you have the ability to change a tire yourself, it rinses off with a little soap and water.I think I see where some of the confusion in the reviews comes in. The label is contradicting, it says, "not for use in passenger vehicles." Right below that it says, "for use in passenger vehicle."I've used it many times in every type of tire imaginable. That said, it is a short term solution and will not work in every situation but does it job well for its intended purpose.

Disappointed in Slime
I was disappointed in this product. I've heard about for years so when my mower got a flat in the rear turf tire I thought that I'd give Slime a try. I followed the directions as stated but couldn't get the Slime to plug the hole. The puncture was from a piece of wire approximately the diameter of a 6 penny finish nail. Every time I inflated the tire and drove slowly around the tire pressure simply blew the Slime out of the puncture hole. Luckily I purchased a regular tire repair kit at the same time as the Slime purchase just in case it didn't work. I don't think the hole size was too large for the Slime as when using the regular repair kit I had to ream the hole to enlarge it and fight to get the plug in the hole.
