Works ok but you can use reusable coffee filter instead
Got mine through VetmedUSA and the strainer is not as pictured and missing the tab for handling. Still works ok by holding the rim but you do have to try peeing slower to avoid splash back. While waiting for the shipment, I spotted a reusable coffee filter with fine white mesh/cloth being sold at both Krogers and Walmart for around 2.50. That works perfectly if not better than the kidney stone collector with more straining mesh area. The only plus the kidney stone collector has is that the plastic funnel is white. For those wondering of usefulness of using a strainer (as I did), I would've never noticed the powdery sand/sediment dump I experienced without a strainer (while using coffee filter), and that only happened once for me so far. You'll notice only larger clots and/or stones otherwise. If you're in a hurry, go check your grocery store for a reusable coffee filter.

Kidney stones suck!!!!
Bought this with a specimen collector to use after lithotripsy for kidney stone collection. Easy to use, clean and store.

Urine strainer
The screen is very fine which is good. The product is thin plastic, was shipped in bubble wrap but arrived with a crack in the side and a nice crease on the other side. So the product works but they need to upgrade the packaging to make it more durable fit shipping.

a very needed item easily received
As an advanced practice nurse in emergency nursing getting this item withhout you in the good quality and needed quantity for my husband was difficult- thank you for being my local medical supplier!!!! as kidney stone here recurrr, having access to a much needed supply wihtout driving all over Tucson, was wonderful
