Versatility is king
Title: Surprisingly Versatile and Delightful Portable LightRating: 4.5 out of 5 stars"I purchased the Philips Hue Go with some skepticism, wondering if it would truly be worth the price for a portable light. However, I've been pleasantly surprised by its versatility and how much I enjoy using it.Pros:* Portability is excellent: The size and weight are perfect for moving it around the house, taking it outside for gatherings, or even packing it for travel. The battery life is decent, lasting several hours on a moderate brightness setting.* Hue Ecosystem Integration: Seamlessly integrates with my existing Hue setup. Controlling it through the app, setting scenes, and even syncing it with music or movies is a breeze.* Beautiful Color and Light Quality: The colors are vibrant and the light is diffused nicely, creating a pleasant ambiance. The ability to cycle through preset scenes or create custom ones is a fantastic feature.* Multiple Control Options: You can control it through the Hue app, voice assistants (like Alexa or Google Assistant), or the physical button on the back for quick changes.* Great for Ambiance: It's perfect for creating a cozy atmosphere in any room, as a night light, or for adding a pop of color to outdoor gatherings.Cons:* Price: It's definitely on the pricier side for a portable light.* Brightness: While bright enough for most ambient lighting, it might not be sufficient for tasks requiring strong, direct light.* Charging: It uses a proprietary charging base, which means you need to carry it with you if you're traveling for a longer period. A USB-C charging port would have been a great upgrade.Overall:The Philips Hue Go is a fantastic portable light that adds a touch of magic to any space. If you're already invested in the Hue ecosystem, it's a no-brainer. Even if you're new to Hue, the Go is a great starting point. While the price is a bit steep, the quality, versatility, and sheer enjoyment it provides make it a worthwhile purchase. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish and functional portable light."

Hue Go light
This little light has completely transformed my space. It’s surprisingly bright when it needs to be but soft and moody when you dial it down whether I am reading working or just chilling with Music it always seems just right the portability is a big plus battery life last about three hours before you have to plug it in again. The color options are a dream. You can change the colors through the Hue app on your phone as well as pressing the button on the Go light.

Hue Go Doesn't Go with Bluetooth
8/23/22 Update: You can set up bluetooth lights with the main Hue app, but it's not straightforward. You have to go to the app's Settings > My Hue System. This is where your bridge is set up (if you have one). Then you can click the blue + button and choose to add a Bluetooth system. You can then add Bluetooth lights to this new Bluetooth system. Once this is done, it works great! I could easily switch between using the bridge/WiFi, and using Bluetooth, via a button in the top left corner of the Home tab.I wish Hue support was more helpful. When I contacted them about this issue (over a week ago), it took several days to get a response, and the response was just to "select the Bluetooth option when setting up the light." I responded to the email asking how to do this and got no response (for several more days now). Anyway, I figured it out and wanted to share with others--I am now satisfied with the Hue Go, and how it functions with the app.Original review: I really want to like the the Hue Go. I have many of the other Hue lights, and they all work great with the Bridge. I was looking forward to taking the Go camping and traveling. However, a battery-powered, Go product needs to work both on, and off the Bridge/home network. Unfortunately, the Philips support site says to use the Bluetooth app, but when I downloaded that app, it doesn't do anything but refer me to the main Hue app. Also unfortunately, the main Hue app can only set up the Go on my home network, using the Bridge. So, the Hue Go is rather useless as a portable product until Philips can resolve this issue with its apps.

LOVE THIS THING
I’ve had this for 5 years now and use daily. It doesn’t hold much of a charge anymore which is kind of disappointing but I don’t take it away from its normal spot too often. I have dropped the life out of this thing, toddlers have used it as a toy, the top has come off but fits back in perfectly and have had no functional issues with it. The lighting is gorgeous and when paired with other Phillips lights you’ve got an awesome display. Great stuff.

Darn it
I'll be honest, I already have one of these, & I so love it. I lost the cord to my first one, couldn't find a replacement online, so I figured I'd get another one, & could use the cord to charge both. WRONG. It seems they now have a smaller cord, which bums me out, on the pulse side, this one is Bluetooth enabled,my first one, is the very first, original HUE GO. It has the most beautiful colors, it can sit on a desk 2 different ways,it's sturdy, bulb lasts forever. I can't get it to pair, or stay paired I should say,but I'm sure this has to do with me, not the product. I have many Hue bulbs, the original, first ones to come out. I'm a fan of how long they last,so easy to use, reuse,& they dramatically dropped my electric bill. The GO can be used anywhere, take it with you, wherever you GO

Amazing
I’m really loving the Philips Hue lights I’ve set up around the house. I’ve got them in the kitchen and behind the TV, and I can control everything from my phone or Google Home. It’s so easy to use and makes such a difference to the space. I’d definitely recommend the Philips Hue system if you’re looking to add some smart lighting to your home!
