It Works!
After trying numerous products, I’ve finally found something that works. I have spent almost $500 trying to remedy this terrible problem. I’ve been putting out bait every night for months, with no success. I’ve tried product after product, each for weeks on end, and it’s all been a big waste of money. I’m so thankful to have finally found this great stuff. Not only does it work fast, it cuts down on the odor and dries them out. I only wish I had found it sooner. It would have saved me a lot of damage and misery. It comes in a nice big bucket with a safety snap lid, so you don’t have to worry about storage. I highly recommend Just One Bite. Try this. You wont regret it.

Worked first night
I have lived in my current home for nearly 18 years and never had a rodent problem until I went away at Christmas this year and returned to find that an uninvited critter had moved in. I saw the evidence immediately and while watching TV I spotted either a very fat gray mouse or a small rat (I think it was the latter, yikes!) run across my kitchen. I wanted to deal with this guy as humanely as possible, so I first tried electronic ultrasonic modules that are supposed to drive them away, then packets with cloves and other aromatics that they are supposed to hate. Both were a total waste of money. Next I decided if I had to kill the critters I would do it quickly so they didn’t suffer a long, painful death and purchased an electronic trap that you bait and wait for them to be quickly electrocuted when they enter to eat the tasty peanut butter or bacon or whatever you have used for bait. After a week with no takers (I actually saw this little guy run right up to the trap and turn around and run back the other way) I gave up and decided I would have to use poison. 😒 The first morning after placing these packets I found 3 of them completely missing. They had been eaten paper and all. The second morning, all evidence of rodent infestation was gone. It’s now been 3 days and nothing. I’ve left a few packets around, but they are undisturbed. No more rodent sounds or feces. I haven’t discovered where they went to die and am prepared with heavy duty air fresheners to get me through if it/they have found their final resting place in a wall. Rest in peace, little bugger. I tried to be kind.

Works within days!
Our little farm had a terrible rat problem, thanks mostly to our chickens. I tried traps, "natural" poisons, shooting them, etc. Bought this stuff, put it carefully in their holes and within days the problem was solved. I was very hesitant to poison them because we have lots of hawks and owls that I didn't want to harm, but the "good news" is they died in their burrows under our barn. The other "good news" is spring is very late in CT this year so the smell has been mitigated by cold temps. I recommend this product! Just be sure to use responsibly.

A saving grace
I was losing the battle with a rat who found his way into my laundry room to eat my dog’s food. I would hear him getting into the bag and it was absolutely horrifying. I bought an airtight container for the dog food and got a brand new bag to dump into it. I bleached the daylights out of every surface in the laundry room. I thought I was in the clear. Then came the sounds in the attic, in the garage. I saw him one night when I walked out there to toss the trash in the trash can. I literally wasn’t eating or sleeping much due to the stress after that. I laid out soooooo many traps. Snap, electric, a no-kill catch and release bucket, then glue. Not a single rodent caught. I bought an ultrasonic repellent to plug in the garage. I sprayed the walls and the floors and doors with peppermint oil and cinnamon. I put steel wool in every gap I could see. The noise continued. I am a single gal who lives on her own and I was quite literally at my wits end from the stress (and frankly the absolute disgust from knowing these things were nearby) - so I bought this product. I didn’t have to think about anything. I grabbed the packets and tossed 3-4 into the attic. I’m typing this from my bed at 0105 and I haven’t heard a single skittering or sound. My house is clean and quiet and safe again. I’d buy this product forever honestly. A little goes a long way apparently, so this is well worth the money you spend. It’ll last for awhile, even if I prepare my house in the summer and again in the fall next year. 10/10 would absolutely buy again.
