Not a good piece, avoid if possible
The adjustable length for a saw such as this seems like a good idea in theory, however in reality it severely limits the piece's strength.On top of this the tightening component used with this saw is awful, one or two passes with the saw blade and everything comes loose, this goes for the clamps that hold the blade as well.Id love to write a good review, but i honestly threw this in the fire at my workplace, youd be better off with a hacksaw and buying seperate spiral/jewellers blades

Good little saw but the top nut does loosen quite easy which can be annoying when cutting meaning you keep having to re-set the tension.

Does it do the job?
Yes it does.....just. l really liked the saw blades supplied. They cut through 4mm aluminium without a problem albeit slowly. The problem is the saw frame, or possibly the combination of the frame and the spiral blades, but I think the frame. Its grip on the blade was tenuous. I ended up using pliers to tighten the blade and frame clamp screws. IMHO I shouldn't have to do that. I suppose it was my fault for buying cheap.
