Mrs. Stewart's Unscented Scent Laundry Whitener Liquid 8 oz.

This is the same product i used 40 years ago. It's just as easy to use for those with front loading machines. While the machine is filling you can see the water running through the soap dispenser. Have your diluted bluing handy in a plastic cup and pour into the flow of water. Do make sure it is thoroughly diluted before you pour. Works great. Bright colors, whiter whites. So glad to have found it. Thank you Amazon for such a quick delivery!

Hard to work with. Very temperamental. Squirts out of the bottle like a rocket going everywhere. If you don't use it absolutely accurately, which is very hard to do, it will stain anything and everything it touches and you cannot get the bright blue stain colour out. I tried bleach to remove it from the clothes, Oxy Clean, etc. I now have a whole load of whites that are dotted completely all over them with bright blue spots that will never come out even though I put the bluing in the washer first and let it even agitate to mix it in. This stuff is horrible.

this is great product if you do not have front load. I have stained several loads even trying to dilute the mixture and using after the water has entered the washer.

This stuff is pretty awesome. I had a load of white women's tshirts of various styles, mainly cotton, but there were yellowed and gray stains mainly in the armpits. They were pretty old and bleach didn't work (made it worse I think). I was going to donate them and I decided to try this as a last ditch attempt because they were all in pretty good shape except the stains. I found it via a google search but none of the hardware stores in my area even knew what it was.So I ordered from Amazon. I did the shirts in a large white load in hot with white rinse, with my usual detergent (Seventh Generation). I diluted 1/4 tsp of Mrs Stewart's in 2 quarts of cold water and added to the final rinse cycle. The clothes were NOTICEABLY whiter and most of armpit stains were MUCH improved - some were totally gone. I did not have the blue dots issue that some other reviewers reported. I cannot believe this stuff is not in common use and on all store shelves. Also, no scent or nasty bleach smell, which is a bonus. Not sure how I will use up the 6-pack that I bought since you only need 1/4 tsp per load, so I may give some to friends and family. I also have a white shih tzu and may use it on him next time he gets a bath as it says you can use it on white hair and white dogs :)

I could not make it work for me but I am terrible when it comes to this kind of stuff. I used a little as instructed and it did get rid of the yellow and I used a little more and ended up having blue on some of my white stuff I was washing together. I hope it works for you. And you need a little as advertised not like I did and the bottle will last you for longer than just a few washes.

Works like a charm!!!!!! I still bleach my whites, but add a few drops of this to the water, and you don't get that yellow tint that bleach can leave.Also......if you have a white dog, OMG, add it to your pet's shampoo and it brightens up their white fur! This should be a "cult" product!

Used a whole bottle with 6 washes back to back and nothing, I bought the 6 pack based on a friends testimonial, who's sorry now, ME. It did stain a couple of white socks and needed a product I have never purchased or used to remove the staining so I spent more money and still have gray whites and another product I will not use.

great product since it really makes white look whiter, but must be sure to have lots of water in the wash covering the load before pouring the mixture or the whites will have a hint of blue stain if you pour and not enough water covering the entire load.....
