Used this to repair an old snapped reel of tape. Works good, and was audibly transparent.

Spliced old 1/4" recording tape.

Working fine so far, but there's no way to estimate its lifetime.

This product is a real find. Excellent for use on the old reel to reel tapes. It works very well for its intended use.

Holds really well. i use it on cassette tapes because I can't find the 1/8" version, but no matter--this works.

I am glad someone is making this for an old, but still used format. It is well made and offered for a reasonable price.

Some 10%-25% of the width of the tape was clear, with no adhesive! At first, I thought this was a clever design idea allowing you to easily peel the tape by the edge from the reel, until I realised that the amount left blank was gradually increasing. Sent it back and received prompt refund, thank you.
