ABCCANOPY 10 Foot Canopy Rain Gutter for Pop up Canopy (White)

Used a bunch of these this afternoon for a tailgate. Thunderstorms - no fun! At first, we had a hard time putting these on our pop-up tailgate tents, but when we got them adjusted, they were amazing!A bit of an update on these. We use these on 10x20 tents, and yes, they still work on these tents. From what we've seen, these do not have a pre-set downward slant - you decide how much of a drop there is as you move from one side to the other. Other gutters out there don't work well with a 20' long connected side, since they assume the rain can drain out both ends of the gutter. These work either way.As shown in the pictures, these connect to your tent with velcro straps. They don't velcro to the sides of your tent, but the straps go up and over your tents' side poles - the poles that 'accordion' to expand the sides of the tent. So these gutters aren't as simple to set up as others that are made to specifically fit tents with velcro already installed, but, OTOH, they should be able to mount to just about any pop-up tent out there. They've worked with both our older 10x10 tents and our newer 10x20 tents.

This strip of fabric CAN NOT function as a rain gutter. It is just under 9’3” long so it won’t carry water OUT of a 10’ pop up canopy set up, it will all stay inside. But worse than that, there are only support straps at the very middle and ends - the fabric will not hold a crease or gutter shape at all - it just flopped over for the whole length except in the very center and at the ends. So, it could never have caught the water anyway, even if your 10’ canopy is not actually 10’ long. I found the company very slow to respond to my complaint and after 5 rounds of emails back and forth they finally told me to get my refund through Amazon. Except for suggesting I contact the vendor first which I guess is standard procedure, Amazon was very quick and helpful. I am so lucky it barely sprinkled on the weekend I tried to use the gutters. Unless you are looking for a ‘do it your self’ project and want to reengineer these and sew on a dozen or so straps and use them for a really small canopy they are absolutely worthless as rain gutters, not just bad, utterly useless.

Overall for the price, it's not bad. I wish it was a bit better, but it's a start. I can fix the rest.It should be several inches wider, to allow the use of weights on the canopy's feet.The velcro strips should run the full length, not just a few inches, in three spots. Many canopies in this size range have velcro along the whole edge, for attaching side panels why not make use of that feature.

could use more velcro to adjust the height and support more weight as it flows the water down.some canopys do not line up with the length of the velcro provided.,One side of the gutter should be mounted lower than the other, but the velcro is not long enough to allow for this slant drop.

The quality is great, however I think more attachments down the length of the gutter would be helpful. I think it will be easy to install, though. Thank you for a very quick ship.

I have 3 canopies lined up together and use these in-between them, they work really good, make sure they are angled right, keep them cleaned out and make sure they are secured tightly to the legs. Only issue that I have had was the last 2 rainstorms I was in were REALLY hard downpours and they just couldn't keep up with the amount of water, but really, I don't think a regular gutter would have faired any better!! These are well worth the money!

had to Modify it to get it to work properly. it takes way to long to put up in a jam. it does not utilize the Velcro like I thought it did. I will just have to sew some Velcro on myself!
